Out of all the great things you can do/see in Grand Theft Auto 5, there are still things missing, pretty obvious things, that should not be missing from the game. Grand Theft Auto 5 is an amazing game, I am not putting it down in any way at all, I am just stating a few things that I feel should not have been missed.

1. Horses -- Being able to ride horses/use them

2. Spinners on Wheels at the Custom Body Shop

3. Neon Lights/Undercarriage Lights at the Custom Body Shop

3. Dolphins, and Whales

4. Fishing

5. Skateboards

6. Monster Truck

7. Space Shuttle -- It Would Be Really Cool to Go Into Space

8. Snakes

9. Lunar/Solar Eclipses, Meteors (Shooting Stars) and Comets

10. The Ability to Have Conversations With Anybody, and the Ability to Ask Any Girl Out, Be Able to Get Married, Etc

11. Wave Surfing -- Where is Surfing?

Is there a reason these things, or at least some of the most most obvious, were left out? -- E115EnRaged935

I like your ideas all of them but you forgot one thing. f*ckstar lacks any creativity to realize those ideas, all they do is re-hash and re-release the same game every 4-5 years with different voice actors and call it a day. f*ckstar doesn't care they have your money and now will sell you ingame weapons as DLC.

You said horses but i can't even find one.

dolphin? True, why didn't they add damn.

Fishing sounds good.

Skateboards same

Isn't there already a monster truck?

Space shuttle? It would be awesome.

Snakes? Damn, why didn't they add this to GTA V

Meteors? Once in a week sounds nice or as a mission,

Conversations? You can do that in gta v

Ability to ask any girl out and be able to get married? Buy sims

Surfing? Awesome idea

Some of them I agree with but I have no desire to get married in real life so why would I want to do it in a game?

Just being able to have any conversations with anybody you want, like in Fallout New Vegas or 3. Being able to like control cargo ships or huge cruise ships would be nice, since they added jumbo jets, why not those. There might actually be snakes, when you ride through the desert sometimes you can hear a rattlesnake rattle, but is probably not actually existent in the game. No there is not Monster Trucks in the game, there are like Ford Super Duty Trucks on big tires but that is not a real Monster Truck. When the game first came out there was a theory that a Monster Truck was hidden inside the Stadium in GTA 5 but no one ever found it. Fishing is a wtf moment. Why do they have all the other sports but this really cool, fun, and awesome one. It would be great. Same for bigger waves and surfing in the ocean, why don't they have breaking waves? What's the point of having a beach on the game if the water just ripples?

Also a really, super-awesomely cool idea to add would be natural disasters every now-and-then. Imagine you're playing and all the sudden there is an earthquake, or like a mudslide/rockslide, Tornado or Hurricane, even a Tsunami maybe. That would just be awesome.

And Rockstar did an absolutely spectacular job on this game -- but of course there is some gruesomely horrific technical issues on online, adding in as well that all 6 cars in my garage on online disappeared and I cannot get them back, which has happened to well more than over a million people. The graphics are amazing, as in blue ray quality, the lighting is great, the controls and handling of vehicles, including turbulence on airplanes are magnificent, underwater is beautiful, you can go super high altitudes in planes, higher than any game ever made, it's not nearly as buggy or laggy as Grand Theft Auto 4, and the three main characters are just perfect. This game is the new standard of gaming. When people think of games now, they first think of Gta 5. It has become almost a superpower already in the gaming world. You cannot say they just put out a game that is the same just with different voice actors. This game is something completely else entirely from any other game ever made.

Love them all, all but the Space one.

I'm pretty confident that it would be done very poorly.

Most of these ideas stray very far from the aesthetic the game seeks to create. Adding them would make it feel more like a Saint's Row game. (I.E. what place does horses have in this story or city? They'd be very much out of place...)

I do agree with some of them though.

Here's a few I can think of that I think would fit in perfectly with the game as it is now:

1. GAS MASKS! They have masks, they have tear gas. they shoulda definitely had gas masks. You get hurt by your own tear gas cans...thats stupid. Plus gas masks look cool and they had them on with the exterminator outfits

2. POLICE K-9 ATTACK DOGS! This was their perfect oppurtunity to include K-9s since they already introduced dogs. As long as they don't kill you in 1 bite this would be a great addition to the stale and simplistic police A.I. (sidenote: should be able to have dogs as any character, even in GTA Online)

3. ABILITY TO FLIRT/DATE! This is long overdue. They've included dating and sex in the games, and they have a system in place where you can impress people based on your clothes and car. I just want more options to talk to the NPCs; would love to be able to flirt with people, it'd be like a minigame trying to win them over and get the digits

4. HEADPHONES!! LONG OVERDUE! I WANT TO LISTEN TO MUSIC WHILE IM ON FOOT! This would be especially useful for the PC version if you can stream your own music.

5. CAMERA FLASH! cmon now, this is common sense, and it'd be fairly easy to do. Make the flash like the Xenon lights for cars and you're done.

6. UMBRELLAS! It just makes sense. NPCs should be taking out umbrellas when it starts to rain. And the thought of punching someone carrying an umbrella is just funny to me. Also beating someone with a closed umbrella...that'd be sweeet.

7. AXES! Would be great to be able to use an axe. You'd get it from firetrucks or laying around in the woods and near sheds.

8. BILLIARDS!! Bring back billiards damnit! NOOOBODY wants to play darts! How many Darts video games have you ever heard of? Now, how many Billiards games are out there? See my point?

9. PARASAILING! We got oceans, speed boats, and parachuting. How hard would it be for them to create parasailing as a past-time? Would be a great sport for GTA Online too, since you need someone to operate the boat

10. Last but certainy not least: TRUE CHARACTER SWITCHING! They need to make it so that we can start a killing spree with all characters in the same area and have the ability to switch between them on the fly, like how we can do in the missions.

Regarding this list, horses? You can just go play RDR for that, it would feel out of place in a GTA game imo. I do agree with some things though, like monster trucks.

I love GTA V too, and I agree with most of the things you want to add except for getting married, that's a bit much. I think the game also needed hydraulics for cars, actually being able to significantly lower or raise your vehicle, a lot more jewelry as clothing items (gold chains, grills, watches, rings, etc.), the ability to change socks (I hate seeing the character wearing those little no show socks), the ability to have your own custom soundtrack, more sports like basketball, the ability to put on the scuba suit anywhere, and an option in single player to get bigger garages.

This. I've rounded up the trio and started sh*t, and yeah they do fire back but I wanted more of the Blitz Play feeling of freely switching and having them in different spots.

Things missing ?

- a lot of enterable buildings, included properties (tequila la-la, Bahamas mamas, the bar in paleto etc...) and those from main story
- vigilante and bounty missions ad infinitum
- more nightclubs and bars with proper nightlife
- bears, snakes and other animals from rdr
- more races with a real challenge
- being able to own the entire city/state
- gang/drug wars
- casino, race track and gambling
- relevant money and property losses
- the opportunity to play the ''good guy'' for once and don't be forced to kill if not necessary
- that crazy magic atmosphere from vice city and more '70s '80s good music
- at least one big dlc like ballad of gay tony that adds all that missing stuff for SP

And of course all the best stuff from GTA on line, we have payed for that and we' ll pay for dlcs, why we couldn't be able to play at least some of those contents even offline ?

I can make a good list of things missing in GTA V myself too :

* Gang wars

* Drug-dealing

* Random shootouts in the streets between rival gangs in the hood, not ones we have to start ourselves.

* More random events in the countryside and wilderness, and more fun and interesting too, not just simple stuff.

* More accessible interiors like fast food outlets, restaurants, cafes, bars, nightclubs, hospitals AND your own business properties.

* Gambling activities like casino, street dice games, bookmakers and racetrack.

* More options for jewelry, not just diamonds stud earrings. Stuff like very expensive chains, bracelets, rings and watches.

* The freedom to choose your own safehouse property to buy with your own money.

* Safehouse customization would have been great.

* Better variety of pistols and SMGs. Where was the Glock 9mm and Colt M1911 pistols advertised on the artwork ?? No Mac-10s or Tec-9s ?? Wow.

* Much bigger variety of wildlife, not just a handful of animals.

* More use for the underwater sections like looking for lost treasure or sunken drug cargoes.

* More involvement of street gangs, the hood and drug cartels in the storyline.

I don't why they didn't add in gang wars despite popularity and being back in Los Santos. I thought it would've been a given. Maybe to get more money if they put it in the DLCs? It's not like it's they haven't coded it before in this HD generaion. They kind'a did with Red Dead Redemption with Undead Nightmare to take over territories. They have to be waiting for DLCs.

Bro I wish I knew the answer to that. I just don't know why Rockstar drop the ball on things that would have made the game much better, simple things too.

I love the idea about having random conversations with random npcs. I've always wanted that from a GTA game. I think it would make immersion that much more awesome if you were able to forge relationships with random npcs. I worked on a mod with Matt1981 that made that possible in GTA IV, and it made the environment much more realistic. You're able to walk up to girls and hold conversations, and they would follow you. They would dance, talk, and have sex with you. It would also be great to make a male friend on the street as well, or maybe even pay off cops.

Below is the mod in action.

Lol, I forgot I even wrote that comment. I don't see how though, V has more features than IV did, and improved mechanics. CoD is more of a rehash than GTA is. Sorry, but I enjoy every game in the series, even if V isn't the best one.

Most of you people are PLAIN IDIOTS, as simple as that...

Do you know how many years it took to make this game? Don't you think that rockstar thought about adding way more than what they added in their game of the century ?

The ONLY reason they did not make it is simply because it won't run on current gen consoles and it would lag the f*ck out.

So before posting hate comments towards R* use your goddamn brain you dumb c*nts

Man, rockstar coulda put a little more effort in and make the safes in the back of some stores throughout the map Destructable like the registers in the front of stores. I sticky bombed the sh*t out of them safes with hopes to tale em for all they got but nothing. Could of been and easy fix in that 6 month delay. I found that Pet peeve in the first week playin it when I can.

It's a question more along the lines of what needs to be taken out and then added.

Things to take out of gta entirely.
1. Gta Online. Sure it's fun for a while, until you realize everything is copy and paste, with boring "jobs" that have a payout that's not worth the time invested in it. Heists could change things, but I'm not holding my breath. Let's return to the gta4 style of online play and invest all that extra disc space in a competent single player game.

Things to add
1. More missions in SP! This is easily the shortest gta story ever told. Really hoping whatever dlc they release continues the story of possibly the best trio in gaming history. After the game was over I felt like there was a lot to be told still.(don't get me wrong, I LOVED the SP for what it was, but if online wasn't apart of the equation imagine how amazing SP COULD have been.)
2. Real side activities...gang wars,etc rather than....yoga...

Those are my complaints. I just wish R* would have focused more on SP than online. It's obvious they will keep pumping out online content, I just really hope the SP in future gta's doesn't suffer from a subpar online experience.

I guess I'm one of the few handfuls of gamers that would rather sit down with an engaging story, an lose myself in a single player experience, than jump online with friends.(and of course the ever present 13 year olds who curse worse than me.) Online gaming is destroying gaming as a whole...(in my opinion, which on this forum is worth less than the dog sh*t on my shoes I stepped in.)
