Anyone who truly believed that a project of this magnitude was going to launch without any problem is a MORON.

Titles routinely get patches and updates to deal with unforeseen issues in games.

No amount of planning can prepare anyone for dealing with something like GTAVONLINE. You can't realistically test something that is going to get slammed with 2% of the entire planet trying to play online in one day. This is going to be a learn as you go process.

Servers are overloaded, and quite frankly, people should have expected this considering GTAV has surpassed 1 BILLION in sales! Get over it. You waited THIS long, expect to wait a while longer. When Rockstar finally gets a grip on everything, the online is going to be the best thing available for entertainment purposes.

People REALLY need to check their bloated expectations at the door.

Wow, at least I'm not the only one that isn't mind blown by this. This may shock you scrubs, but this is common(at launch), knew it was coming, and is pretty much common practice.

Why should this be commonstance, why should one assume Rockstar does not know what they are doing.

The same thing they were doing during the GTA V delay of 2012. I think it's safe to say that R* lost their 'god' status officially. What a sad sad ending to a generation of consoles. It sure is Purdy though.

I have to agree with this statement. R* sure has lost their reputation.... and this IS a sad ending for current gen. GTA V could have defined current gen consoles and really pushed the envelope. GTA V had GOTY (for VGAs) wrapped up before today (October 1st).... now I'll be surprised if GTA V is even nominated. I mean, how can you nominate a game that is COMPLETELY broken and not working?? You can't. And you'd have to be an idiot to do so.

With everybody here still kissing Rockstar's ass trust me this game will be in the VGA's. COD is a copy and paste job and always is in the VGA's.
