Thanks for the link!

The main points that I saw, that I haven't seen elsewhere, are:

-You must be a certain rank in order to purchase properties
-Missions = money, unlike single player
-Passive mode (can't attack/be attacked by other players) requires a small amount of money to turn on (few hundred $)
-Odd bonuses when befriending certain NPCs (befriend a hacker, able to hide yourself from other players on the minimap - likely just for a short time)
-Can bet on who you think will win player races and deathmatches
-Robbing a store causes it to close down for a short time so that it can't be robbed by anyone
-Rally racing: Driver and partner; driver has no idea where to go, partner has to instruct where to turn

With ranks going up to 100, I'd figure the first few ranks will go by really fast.  And it didn't really say anything about not having a place to sleep at the start.  The first mission may in fact be the moment where you get your first home.  Who's to say, though?

thats true, especially with the lack of difficulty in SP im sure the mission are not that different.

The guy just confirmed it. You have to rank up to get properties. But you can rank up to 10 easily (like any other game). Also properties can be cheap or expensive.

damn that's  a bummer, I was hoping that the sneak that you can do in SP would help you hide in MP on the radar atleast until you shot a non silenced weapon, ran or started walking normally..

that's why I could never really go back to GTA after I got into the RDR scene, that game allowed more in the free roam than gta's have your dot show up all the time on the radar way

I mean now they have your hacker friend but I bet you will have to pay, and or have to drive to them all the time to get that benefit for maybe a minute or two? unless you can call that npc whenever you needed then that would be a bit more acceptable imo

yeah, considering the guy basically got to rank 10 within a few hours, it must not be too hard to get it.

Well its not entirely unlikely that it will slow down considerably, the first few lvls are always super fast in almost all games.
