Hi, I am new to the GTA forums, I was wondering if this laptop could run gta iv fast

No one seems to care anymore.

Laptops are not for PC gaming unless you get a dedicated gaming laptop, but those are overpriced.

 

Just get a desktop.

it would play on low settings + memrestrict commands (the one that starts with "314" iirc). the problem is the high resolution with that GPU. llano/trinity/richland can only run medium graphics at lower resolutions

you would have to turn shadows completely off.

 

No one seems to care anymore.

I don't like what they have done to these forums at all! This display sux at 1024x768, everything is cramped. Hence, I stopped visiting as much. Plus, it used to be you could click "print thread" and this saved me bandwidth greatly, as I could view the content without useless stuff like images (768k line)

I play it on core i5 and 4GB of RAM with 6470M 1GB vga card.

 

I get some 25fps at 720p low settings.

 

I guess you will be able to play it, but hardly enjoy it in full glory.
