I did the Scraps and was so disappointed at the end... And then I saw that for collecting the spaceship parts you get a lame ass buggy... BLEEP THAT I am done with finding crap in my new primary save.. Done! There is no real reason to find the crap. You give so much effort for such little reward.

Surprise Surprise. You're bashing the game again.
And from that I can tell you're a modern era gamer.
GTA V is very "old schooly" but in the old day's San Andreas/Vice City. Collectibles had very little reward apart from the experience of finding them all, some self worth and probably a vehicle or something. Just cause you've been spoiled by On disc DLC, OP weaponry and like 10,00000000 XP for online games, doesnt make it "worthless" please. Sell your game. none of us want to deal with your nic-picking and whining ONLINE. thanks.

Sorry, GTA IV and V are great but Rockstar really have lost their way when it comes to rewarding the player for some of the stuff they ask us to do.

Oh right, sh*t xD fair enough.
Well let's see what happens in the future, some intresting things might come from LifeInvader, future updates, ONLINE who knows?
Early days yet.

Please tell me you found all the collectible with a guide. sh*t's nearly impossible without one unless you spend months searching them

I found all collectibles without any guide in San Andreas..it took me 7 years and 600+ hours :) But i'm still on 99 hidden packages on GTA III and I found the last packages three years ago. But some day..

I never use a guide and I never give up but finding everything. To get all collectibles in GTA V will take many years for me i can tell you that.

We can hope, but just because we have the internet doesn't mean games should be released incomplete. If Rockstar intended rewards for this stuff they should have put them in by release. Apparently the spaceship parts thing is supposed to get you a spaceship in GTA Online according to IGN, but I can't find any note of other rewards for the other collectibles. :( Really not interested in doing most of them if there is nothing to gain from it. I don't find collectibles fun and only use guides for them if I'm going for 100%.

Yep, Stunt Jumps. At least the Nuclear Waste is easy to do, just takes a sh*tload of time.

Didn't even collect the nuclear waste since it's not needed to 100%, but the stunt jumps were really frustrating. If you land a bit off, your stunt "fails" and the car's front axle and the camber axis breaks :sui:

That one piece of sh*t spaceship part resting under the bridge... It took me an hour alone just to get that one.

None, i like doing the collectibles to be honest. Its part of GTA folk lore. I like to do them throughout the story to break it up a bit. I'll collect 25 of a certain collectible then i will do a few missions the collect another 25 etc, instead of waiting till the end of the game and trying to do them all at once then.

Nuclear waste!  Took me two hours to collect all 30  :sui:

Two hours?

Boo hoo. It took me 8 hours to kill the birds in IV.

Spaceship parts because of the one on the support beam of the bridge. I failed the parachute jump at least 20 times before I realized I could just land the heli there.

The knife flights for me were easy. Just spent like 20 minutes flying sideways with the Lazer through the city.

I think the big thing with the stunt jumps is;

You don't know what type of vehicle to use. I drove around a bike, and if I failed i stole a car and tried that.

Also, almost every jump is shorter than you think. I started just giving it only about 40 feet of runway, and seemed to make it every time (or switch to a car, and that worked)

Spaceship parts/Letter Scraps/Episilon/ are pretty standard, you go to place and pick it up very simple.

Hidden Packages don't even exist in my mind, and there easy to get with scuba diving.

Knife Flights were pretty easy ,only a few were a bit tricky but nothing hard.

Under bridge is fast, easy, and stress free

Sub Parts were easy and fun to explore

Stunt Jumps are done badly, too much focus on how it lands and where it lands. Designs are pretty bad too.

Nuclear Waste is so so boring, long, tedious, frustrating, sub is hard to control.

I can't decide between those 2 , I got 10 waste and 25 jumps and won't be getting anymore.

i just got 100% today and DAMN i was lucky to win at darts and golf in my first try

the knife flights were the hardest but after doing 8 of them i finnaly got 100%

the online is just 3 days from now and i can go back to SR4 while i wait for tuesday to play the online and i might shelve gta 5 IF the online is downloadable and stored on the "PS3" game folder

What about the for sale signs you have to destroy? Although I wouldn't say they're that hard what really annoys me about them is the map you're given to find them doesn't mark them off for each one you destroy.

Makes it frustrating especially with the cluster in Rockford Hills.

Yeah those, they're not really that hard if you remember in which order you did them, for me I started them from the beach, the ones marked down and then up.

But I don't really count them as collectibles as it's for Stranger/freak mission + you don't get rewarded for it

I didn't mind any of them aside from the Stunt Jumps which I thought was going to be my favorite. Boy was I wrong. They're so broken. I've landed in the same spot 6 times, yet on the 6th time it decides to give it to me. It's very inconsistent and frustrating.

Yeah I guess, but they're still listed under the spaceship parts, letters, nuclear waste etc in the stats section of the game.

Just because it isnt needed doesn't mean that you shouldn't collect them. If people want money and lots of it then nuclear waste collection is one way to get quite a bit.

For me, it's the stunt jumps.

Cinematic camera on every jump, the only way to speed up the jump is to press forward on the right analog, and piss poor controls in the air. Outside of stunt jumps, aerial control of vehicles is very easy, on the stunt jumps, the aerial control is almost non-existant. Plus, you need to have either a car or bike for certain ones, and invisible spots where you HAVE to land.

Or you could look at it this way, almost every single gta ever you do a few missions and have endless cash from then on, never feel strapped for it.. besides mayb a tiny period at the start.

It feels like in this game, especially online, they are trying to keep people from having money for everything they want... if it was the other way around, they would be complaining money means nothing.... like they did before, myself included (although I never posted or made a real complaint, it was a personal complaint I didnt like about the game)

My point is, having possibly free end endless weapons.. and things like having a rocket launcher or w.e at the start in your house.. just kinda ruins that whole money actually means something thing.

Just an alternative point of view... and yea I guess they could just just removed collectables.. but tbh its not like they dont give anything either.. nuclear waste gives a mill in credits, spacedocker is a unique vehicle.. who knows it might be part of another easter egg.. you get rewarded.. and how hard is it to look up the reward before you go after it..

underwater ones were nothing. Takes 2 hours max. Spaceship parts I haven't finished but seems it will take at least 3 hours.
