Right now AMU is at 644.51 for me (a decrease of -2.05%). I saw it as high as 714.xx yesterday.

It's safe too assume this stock will sky rocket when online goes live. The question right now is how low will it go?

I'm lost on how this works lol I put all my money in animation stocks a couple days ago, thinking that once online hits it'll go up heaps, and now I'm down around 4 and a half million with mike and frank.. Fingers crossed it goes back up lol

Money you make in single player can't transfer over to online, so putting your money into any shares at the moment is not related to making money when the online stocks go up.  They're both independent.

Saying that, I've seen the stock value of AmmuNation change quite drastically on the Rockstar website, but realised that it doesn't affect my personal game stock price at all.  I checked when I got home and my AmmuNation stock price hadn't changed.  I'm not sure the relevance of the stock price on the Rockstar website.

Yeah I'm about 80% sure all the customization has been plowed into the online game. You'll start and have to create a character. First few months will just be rolling around doing little jobs like robbing the shops MAYBE the safes in the banks as well.

Heists will be released and be LARGE jobs like in the game... unsure if you'll have to do prejobs... maybe prejobs will enable you to take part in a heist (Do the pre-jobs on your own or with a few friends then main job unlocked)

Also I think that more of these locations with for sale signs outside will be made available

But... I doubt the stocks in the solo game will change till the first DLC which will add in 10+ new missions I'd expect.  Maybe even new assassination missions or sabotage ones..

"They're both independent." I hate asking for sources but are you sure about that? As far as I know BAWSAQ is supposed to be affected by both online and sp actions. The money does not transfer but the main sp characters should see a big increase when people online start buying weapons and ammo.

Weapons are a one time purchase, that might be why you are seeing prices starting to fall, and to be fair after a bit capping out on ammo I really had no need to purchase ammo again. You can usually scavange enough ammo to keep your favorite weapons full, barring stuff like grenades, plastique, rocket proppelled grenades, petro and minigun ammunition. So that might be why you are starting to see a dip, most players in single player have already made the large purchases they are going to make and are just using Ammunation to keep topped off and get the occasional vest.

I guess I'm going to sell my Ammunaton stock as soon as I boot up the game so I don't get into a spot of the game where it drops.

Who said that? It seems like you and one other person assumed that he thought the money would transfer. BAWSAQ is supposed to be affected by community actions and as far as we know online and single player BAWSAQ are together. Nobody said the money from their characters would transfer to online but they would like to know and are assuming that actions in online (robbing stores, buying ammo, etc....) will affect BAWSAQ stocks that the sp characters have purchased.

I dont believe there is ever a time where it drops. Supposedly robbing stores can affect how a stock is doing but that has not been proven by anyone. (Nobody has had the same results over and over). With all the crime that goes on around LS and the purchases that the player makes the store stock seems to stay high.

It's down to almost 600 now. Anyone who is not buying at this price is crazy.

I would wait and see of it drops any more. It has potential to drop a lot further. But it will be almost garuanteed profit once online is up.

Update: Ammu is still dropping and LS customs has started to drop.

I'm down 2 Mil in Ammu alone...... I'm going to stop wasting my time going after that dumb golf club and the theaters. Hopefully I will remember to do the assassinations AFTER the main game next time I play. Goodbye....

ammunation is going down because you have already modded and ammo'd up all your weapons, it went up when you spent money there

Yea I'm also pretty shocked ammunation is going down. It was going steadily up for a while so I decided to buy a few extra stocks and now its going down. Hopefully it picks back up. I'm holding out for the release in Japan hoping it will skyrocket then. I also highly suggest investing in Los Santos Customs that also has been climbing steadily

it has to go up, everyone that bought guns and stuff for the single player will have to buy them all over again for online, because that's a new protag right ?

Yes as long as people don't rob every damn store.

It is whether they get the stock market to show correctly.

One thing that may be confusing people is that there appear to be two separate BAWSAQs, one for Xbox one for ps3. Ps3 is holding above 700 but Xbox has dropped from a high of 714 to about 560. Maybe some of the big early investors have cashed out to buy the golf course? Then the price falls and others cash out to avoid losses and it keeps falling...

I would leave it. If you pull out you are going to loose all that money. Hopefully the online weapon purchases will bring the stocks back up. If that happens I am keeping the stock for a week and then pulling out before it goes down again.
