Will someone please explain to me how can bawsaq be live/online if the guide is telling me to invest in a specific company before the shares increase? (Side mission random stranger) Nobody understands this game mechanic thoroughly as far as I can tell aaaaarrrgghh! This is supposed to be an online feature only isn't it? P.S. I apologise if this has been discussed before but I have given up searching for answer.

Some companies on BAWSAQ are affected locally by in game actions in the Lester Missions, but not globally (compare your share price to social clubs website).

Globally the prices are affected by trades.

So even if loads of people were doing the same side mission at the same time it wouldn't affect the global share prices of specific company on social club? Is that correct?

P.s. Which leads me to the rhetorical question why didn't rockstar just put said company on the offline stock market (Lcn or whatever it's called)? I've been confused for a week now!

The buying of shares would affect it, but not the wild swings from in game actions.

Thank you understood. Although I'm not sure I remember seeing a surge in the stock price of this specific company, so if roughly 13million people (half that for each console) invested at some point over the last 9 days there would be a hugh increase surely?

One more question before I disappear into Dark Souls forever, is there any point to all this money in online mode when it starts? Is the money transferable?

I don't think so, I think this is training for those times. We learn how to manipulate the market now and apply that to online (or R* is figuring out how we manipulate the market to keep it from happening online so the economy isn't shot, as this could crush the economy of the online world).
