The problem with the jetpack is we already found all the car/plane/etc handling params (how much they weigh, acceleration factors, blabhlabhalh) along with the textures for the vehicles. We have converters for a good chunk of the files now. We also have hashcodes for every vehicle to spawn whatever we want by savegame modding. There are a few vehicles that are unknown still, but were working on spawning everything.
Weapon textures for weapons that you can hold have also been found, they are in a single file grouped together.
Things like the UFO were a easter egg and files arent hidden at all. They are literally called UFO.
Now for the interesting stuff. There is a red/green laser projectile thats a bit unknown (http://gtaforums.com...entry1064220623). There is the alien rune overlay as well. ambient_ufos.xsc also has some possible if/then statements around the "death ray" along with what looks like exhaust trails, and we have never seen them actually move. It also has potential coords for another UFO we have not seen yet.
To me this all means its more feasable to have a flyable UFO with one of the models that we have already seen that use red/green laser projectiles, rather than a jetpack.
