Don't know if it has been mentioned but if you fire a rocket at the shack on top of Mt. Gordo there is a second and third explosion after the rocket hits as if there's a car in there or something.

This could be nothing. I've only been to the hippy camp once before and it was daytime. I noticed I had a full moon and raced down there, and this looks a bit like a party.

There's a van with graffiti as well. I haven't investigated further yet. I've got the game on pause. Wanted to make sure this was actually something unusual and they don't just camp like this every night.

Edit: I've took more photos but they're not showing up on my Snapmatic page. Could just be an error.

Dude i have had a guy in the bunker and a guy in the tower  at the same time  but i havent had guys at all 3 elevators .

 

What i did was have 2 charachters each in a heli south of FZ.  Parachute one into the bunker with zero stars . Switch back to the other heli , he should still be close . Now you can parachute him anywhere into the base . But ofcourse you cant switch back .

if that 2nd photo is the strange grafitti'd van, i'm pretty sure its in my game every time i go there, it has the circle alien writing around the bottom of it

And Up Uranus on top? If that's the case my bad it's just everybody always mentions the car with the UFO on top and from my only other time there I don't remember the van. There seems to be more NPCs than usual in the area but aside from that and two camper vans I've noticed nothing new. Got a save that I'm currently replaying.

Ok this is just a thought so no bullsh*t plz,Anyways earlier today i was really stoned and i was snooping around the base and anyways when you go in the controle towers there is 2 elevators witch everyone knows about and i was thinking.....if they both open and close when you get in them then they HAVE to do something witch got me thinking that maybe if you bring the characters there in put each of them in an elevator and one at the bunker elevator then maybe something will happen cuz you can hide in both the controle tower and the bunker without being seen after getting the wanted level off of you so maybe that would give us a chance to take the shot cuz i mean i have never heard or seen someone try.Any thoughts?

i have tried to get 2 characters in there by switching between them, but asoon as you change the other 1 decides to wander off. Its impossible to keep switching between them & shoot the enemy & not die. I have even tried switching between 2 til they are both at trevors hangar/helipad (they have to keep some distance apart or the 'hang out' option kicks in, & if you decline it, the other character will walk off & is very difficult to switch between them & keep them at same place) i then got trevor in the tank, & before he can get out or drive off i quickly jump into the cargobob with the other character, fly over the tank & pick it up with trevor still in it. the 'hang out' option doesnt activate this way even tho he is close enough. i then flew into the fort (same method i posted above) & when the alarm sounds i dropped the tank outside the tower then landed & got in without dieing. But trevor doesnt hang around tho? i watched out the tower windows hoping he would kill alot for me but he kills only a few before taking off or being killed (*injured* as your other characters never die, or they would have to be removed from your game) so i doubt you could achieve that in that way? also my theory is the top elevator is to allow for the respawning of the enemy at the top of the tower when you are at the bottom (as described in my previous post)
damn lol im blank on ideas know,why does trevor have to be so hard to hamdle!!! Lol

or it might just be that because they can see each other they don't move, I haven't tried this anywhere else.

 

i have been trying the switching character option for over a month in various settings. & yes they will stay for quite a while when they can see each other, except trevor. ive been stealing & buying vehicles with franklin, drive to his custom shop that gets upgrades for free, drive back to another characters garage then switching to the other 1 when im close & get a taxi to his garage. switch back when he gets there & park the vehicle across the street, hop out & run down the road abit, making sure i can still see the other character & vehicle, then switch back, then run across & jump in the car & put into his garage. I have upgraded all the top cars this way for all my characters, & its cost me only the price of the vehicles ive bought ;) i have all their garages full of fully modded cars done this way. you can even swap cars in the garages between characters this way (like the spacedocker & epsilon tractor which i wanted franklin to have, just incase i have to redo the missions to kill michael & trevor) hope this helps someone? also trevor will attack you if youre not fast & do the above using him to drop off the vehicles, hes abit of a nutcase sometimes lol

yea dude i always see it there every single time and now its gone!? This is the first time me being at the hippie camp and that van witch is the parked truck with the white grifittied shed on the back not there this is weird ima explore a bit

You probably blew up the jetpack :/

 

But all is well! R* are giving us 500k...

 

On a serious note did anyone try the three character split while at the right moon, because it looks like the characters stayed but not at the crescent moon which seems to be a requirement.

Yes that is weird. You can see something explode and burn within the building.

there are a few more huts around like this also wit repeater towers next to them is anyone free to try those for explody boom pow as well

1 in the Sanora desert, just cant remember where, maybe by that house that has the "Welcome (alien face)" sign

I love those fancy theories but I thought of a straight forward theory today so:
The mural entrences theory -lol

Afaik it took us some time to find all of the 5 glyphs on mt chilliad a few weeks ago.
I remember that we got 4 glyphs and needed the fifth one and I was one of the many guys searching for it ingame with the buzzard at the chilliad slopes.
I searched for hours with a heli and got Nothing even tough I searched for it almost all night at the right spot because of the mural giving us an idea where to search on mount chilliad.

Today I looked at the GtaV mystery topic with all the discovered information again. I noticed the pics of the mount chilliad glyphs. Just take a look at the "beam me up glyphe" the glyphs are HUGE. You get a good idea of how big these glyphs are if u look at the beam me up glyph because of the trees besides it.

And then My thought was: we did know where to look for the last glyph, the glyphs are huge and many people searched for it and even then it took us a few days to find it.

The mural was pretty straight forward with us with the glyphs location..
So I think it is possible that we missed the entrences that the mural also shows. Think of it -
An entrence will be kinda hidden behind a tree or a bush and the entrence won't be as huge as the glyphs are. Think of it having the size of a door. And maybe you can't even land there with a heli cause of the terrain.
It is just hard to find because of the terrain and because Mount Chilliad is HUGE if u compare it to a size of a door.

as well as the terraforming delay if your moving to fast. I can drop into Zancudo so quick and be standing next to where a Titan is and still be waiting for it to appear, point being if your moving to fast then what your looking for may not have time to load

 

same goes for anyone thinking theyve checked the skies over all of San Andreas, if you dont know "its" there then its very easy to fly past, as well as height being a variable

I'm starting a new game, but i just wanted to point out something about the "Up Uranus" symbol.

 

Wasn't it found in the gamefiles that one of the UFO's is called the "Spinning Anus" or something like that? That Uranus symbol is pretty clear to me, if that's right. It means you either get beamed into the "Spinning Anus" UFO, or you have to do something TO that "Spinning Anus" UFO.

 

I wonder if it has anything to do with seeing the light?

I've read hundreds of pages here and I haven't heard it really mentioned that on the radio throughout the campaign they're forever banging on about a meteor strike.
I'm only saying this as we're now through and past the earthquake/tsunami speculation pages and I can't see a mention of it anywhere. Would surely be a much easier massive natural event to add to a game. Basically a BIG fiery bit you can't get to

EDIT: In my everlasting quest to reach the last page of this thread, whilst actually reading all of it, (I was maybe 12 pages back when I posted) I find that in the last page or two this HAS been mentioned now.

I've embarrassed myself :/

i posted a pic awhile back of Trevors loading screen (the one he's got the lighter in) and in the background it looks like a meteor trail striking the mountain (or its just a jet trail) up close though if it is a jet trail its a sh*t representation of one when you compare it to the clouds in the background

i would think it looks more like the 'chem trails' that you see often across the map. tried to find something of interest below where they cross but no luck. also may be the ufo beam from mt chiliad?

It says a week or somthing and yet its been on the radio since game start.

heh heh star wars jokes aside,

i get a wanted status anytime i make to many explosions, even with out victims, im always careful of randomly firing off rockets to close to civilians now, try it again and see if there are any patterns that form, you may have fired near an approaching hiker

its so damn cheesy and annoying. Just add your theory and wait for someone to prove you wrong and argue with you. Jeez.


Maybe the new people see the amount of flaming and "yeah yeah done that, Mr Thicky, see post 3756....DO try to keep up darling" replies by people who let's face it are no closer to knowing the secret than my cat is, so they're all cautious to even contribute. That's why they put stuff like that. I put summat similar and I've been knocking about on here since Jesus was a lad.

I keep wondering WHO painted the mural?

 

A hippie? An Altruist? Was it an alien who left the clue?

 

Was it someone who had been inside the mountain, and they 'saw the light' (The Sun?) when they found their way out? If so, is that proof that what they've drawn (UFO/Egg/Jetpack) exists?

 

The egg itself may be quite real. An 'easter egg' would be more like a sign that said "Haha you thought there was going to be a jetpack here didn't you?" Why would whoever created this mural include something like that if the other components are actually there? 

 

Why would the UFO by the mural be a hologram? With FIB written on it (and another that we know of as well)? They have to be a bigger piece of this puzzle...

 

If we can figure out where this is coming from we'll have a better idea of where it's going.
