This tool is a Manhunt2 PC MDL, PSP/PS2 DFF models file importer with 3dsmax.

You can use it view All MDL/DFF Models(character,weapon,object .etc).

Note:
PSP/PS2 some models of the face direction is reversed. You need to manually fix it. (Flip the face normal !)

.NET framework 4.0 or Higher

Importer_MaxLowVersion Requirement
------------
3dsMax8 or Higher
You need decompress MDL/DFF files by my Manhunt2 MDL Editor or by Yourself.

Now, I already make an Manhunt2 MDL Editor!

 

Includes the following functions:
 
Add(include merge big/multi mdl file ,add single mdl file)
Delete
Export(single mdl file)
Replace(single mdl file)
Save/SaveAs

This tool is mainly for the future export mdl maxscript work ,in order to modify this game!   similar GTA IMG  tool.

Manhunt2 MDL Exporter Test!
I convert PSP FAMILY.dff to pc mdl.

Wow nice! I knew you'll can handle it. About smoothing: how do your exporter exports notmals? If I remember right - each normal coord stored in 2 bytes.

 

PS. Also these bugs can appear because verts of the model from PSP was not welded... - I think model from PSP lost original normals due to few meshop operations.

Yes,When I import the model, Normals has been broken.
This is really a headache problems.
I really need to check the script to see what the code to break the normal!
 
Seems indeed to be re-welded vertices, and remap UV!
