GTA4:

All of Liberty City's largest crime families (and a gay club owner) are in an uproar over a small bag of diamonds worth 2 million dollars.

Rob the National Liberty City Bank with 4 people. What's your cut? $250.000

And why do you want such a large amount of money if you just can spend it in hot dogs and bowling?

I didn't just post that video for fun you know, it has a point. A million dollars isn't exactly alot of money these days, so why are they making such a fuss over 2 million dollars worth in diamonds?

And yeah, you can't really spend alot of money in GTA4 on anything other than weapons, so you don't need much, but again, that's not really the point.

Hence me making this not too serious thread about how Liberty City is financially handicapped compared to Los Santos.

Well, afaik, robbers normally don't get too much money when assaulting banks. So 250.000 per capita for a heist is pretty much a decent amount of money.

Anway, I get what you mean. In addition, just look at the city out of Algonquin and the large amount of buildings that seems to be about falling down :p

I would have agreed with that before GTA5, but one of the heists on a small town bank gives you a total score of roughly $10 million.

So your point is sort of invalid. :p

Yeah, but then again the Paleto Bank also contained the entire County's PD salaries in it too. :p
