After reading a few articles and comments and my own experience I'm surprised I'm 48% through the main storyline (hell I'm splitting my gaming time between GOW3 and Xbox Arcade games and I'm still racing through the story without much effort). Does anyone else notice this? I played VC stories on PSP and it took way longer to reach 48%. Anyone thoughts? Could Rockstar be waiting to release a heap of expensive dlc that will expand the game?

I haven't played it yet but my friend was telling me that he hit 99.75% in 18 hours. Sounds like a load of sh*t to me.

I knew it ! I know there's no such a perfect game like in the trailer...

In my opinion, GTA IV still the best GTA. Ever.

Sorry for my bad english

I spent around 40-50h now with GTA V (I don't remember the exact number), I've completed the Story after around 35 hours, even though I did a lot of free roaming and stuff meanwhile and other things.

The story isn't short, but it's not extremely long either, it's way above average though. If you rush the game you can surely finish the story in 15 hours or less, but that's not really the point of the game. There's tons of other missions you can do besides story, it's quite a long game.

The 100% count is a little stupid too, but I mentioned that in another thread already. If you check the socialclub you will notice that there are more side missions etc. than you actually need for the 100% count, it's a little strange if you ask me, but I guess that's how it is.

A normal person who enjoys GTA V as a sandbox game (because that's what it is) will normally not make it under at least 50 hours to reach 100%.

Today's games are - more Gigabytes = less hours to play.

Most people don't bother completing gta games, lots would just play to open up all the city.

I'd never completed one until 4 (because i actually had a life before then) and i probably wouldn't have time to do a game as long as 4 again (because i sort of have a life again now).

Most people will be able to finish this game.

Agreed. You gotta ditch that dude who told you that bullsh*t RSoha.

Look around these forums. There are some SERIOUSLY EXPERIENCED GAMERS here who are actually having real difficulty getting past 70%.

99% in 18 hours my ass.

Agreed. I could understand completing the story in that time, but almost 100%? What did he do? Sit down with a strategy guide drinking coffee for 19 hours doing every single thing?

I think your mate has been jerking you off bud.

Do you reckon it's actually possible to do the story in 18 hours? I know it took me longer...

I think you guys need to  stop checking the ingame percentage and use the checklist from rockstar social club because there you can really see how to reach 100%(do everything there is to do)... the 100% ingame are not really 100% since you only have to do half the random events and about 20 strangers and freaks mission to get 100% although there are over 50... besides most collectibles don't even count for 100%, I wish they would have add the whole game to count as 100%, would make my percentage raise much slower
