I was puzzled to find that there hadn't been any attention payed to the white dog in the strangers and freaks mission when you meet Dom. Franklin has a full blown conversation with a white dog that only he can see. It's the only time it's seen or even mentioned to my knowledge? Any theories or something I missed?

So you sayin Franklin is a freak HINT HINT? There's no other situation that has this happen to him, unless someone wants to enlighten me. Just curious. I remember there was some dude like god or something in Red Dead Redemption wasnt there?

He was extremely heavily hinted (as in "concretely supernatural" hinted) to be God or Death. Considering the various other easter eggs and encounters in GTA V and RDR, supernatural or sci-fi phenomena are not at all unexpected.

And also, why this mission? Why would a "god" want to save an idiot like Dom. This just isn't making sense to me.

It's just a reference to old shows like Lassie - where a whimpering dog could convey in-depth meaning like 'little Timmy is stuck down the well' with a single bark or whine.

Don't over think this one, fellas, this is as deep as it gets. Deep as dog sh*t.

I've heard the Dog reappears in Dom's last mission (after all stunt jumps are done). Haven't gotten to that point yet, so we'll see.

Jesus is found at the entrance to the pier...but he doesn't know he's Jesus.

As for the dog, it maybe one of those Devil Man urban myth things that was in RDR.

yeah that was good. I finished all the dom missions but didn't see the dog reappear.

the celeb mission where you stole the dog collar was also funny but I don't know if it was supposed to go down like that or it was just random.

I caught the dog, took his collar and the dog runs straight into traffic and gets hit by an suv. the suv flips over makes alittle pile up and the dog gets back up and runs down the street.

Probably some Harry Potter reference or some wicked sh*t like that. Ya know! Harry could speak with snakes, Franklin can speak to dogs. DAWG!

It just seemed so out of place. My experience thus far didn't involve anything supernatural in an easily accessible mission. Of course I'm over thinking it, just interested if there was more of it in the game.

There's at least one outright supernatural easter egg involving Jock Cranley, one cryptozoology easter egg (I wonder who's going to understand that term and know what I mean...), and an obscene amount of alien easter eggs.

Yup, old joke... "What's that Lassie?" (bark bark), "Jim's trapped in the well?" etc. etc...

Without spoiling anything for anyone, I'll say that you will encounter the dog again following a set of requirements. This second meeting is just as ambiguous as the last however. R* loves to have all sorts of fun.

I was hoping to see some "Strange Man" reference from RDR, I guess this is the most we'll get :p Still really funny though!

Strange man was creppy as hell though!

Maybe Franklin should make an appointment with Dr Friedlander.

Everyone have problem. Franklin too.

Michael wants peace life, yet he misses chaos.

Trevor likes chaos, yet he wants his friends alive and protect them

Franklin? He is now a rich junkie with a dog and probably his depression makes him hallucinate and talking to dawgs and sh*t..
