GTA Online to add microtransactions?

Well I am hugely disappointed in rockstar lowering themselves to this level, to the level they parody other games doing this exact thing in game. Kind of ironic really as a fan of 16 years, im starting to think I wont be a fan of the next GTA.
Could this be the real reason for the delay? R* caving to take 2s demands of pay to play in the final moments? I think so.
I agree, they mock money hungry companies through-out the entire story line, and now they're doing the exact same f*cking thing it's amazing.

Also I thought to myself its going to be a bit of a kick in the teeth to be able to access all these other areas in the online when (im guessing) single player will stay the same, empty. It annoys me because rockstar have always been a decent company but I am starting to wonder what the hell they have been planning in these five years since IV. Absolutely gutted.

WHAT? They could have at least boosted up the prices for in game. It costs basically £14 just to get $1,250,000 IN GAME? WOW. I could make that in less than a day in online by doing heists and whatnot. They royally f*cked up. Hope we aren't forced to get it.
I'm just going to wait till online comes and see what happens. I'll just treat this as a reliable source as it's eurogamer and it says confirmed.

so if me and friends work to earn money, and someone else just buys it, who gets top tier equipment first?
who gets the advantage?
depends on how much things pay out, and how much things cost

Topic confirming it all here:
Just to update this:
The details were spotted in webpage data for the game's online store (spotted byReddit).
The packs are not currently viewable in-game, but are on Rockstar's website in a publicly viewable XML file.
- $100,000 Red Shark Cash Card - £1.99
- $200,000 Tiger Shark Cash Card - £3.49
- $500,000 Bull Shark Cash Card - £6.99
- $1,250,000 Great White Shark Cash Card - £13.49
These details originate from a source with early access to Grand Theft Auto 5's multiplayer mode. While details may still be tweaked prior to its final release, this is how things currently stand less than a week before it goes live.
I'm pretty annoyed R* have done this but I'll enjoy killing all the paying people.

Good. I can use that points card that I got from preordering from microsoft.

you cant unlock everything in the beginning you must level up your rp to unlock the guns to buy same with mods for the cars so in the sense its not pay to win like alot of other games
People that do the missions get money and rp
People that buy the cards only get the money no leveling up i just say it help if you wanted more clothes or buy the place you wanted

It is just to give people a quicker way to buy stuff in multiplayer, it may not of been R* who wanted this, it could of been TakeTwo that wanted this.

Personally couldn't care less about this. It just give people access to game money for real money. Big Deal!? Its not like real money for permanent armor/Health boost
