I held the aim button and took a sharpie and marked it on my tv screen.

It's much less distracting, AND MORE HELPFUL, than almost anything else on-screen.

I used a black marker, so it doesn't help in dark areas, but a colored one might be better.

Next time I play I'll put a dab of whiteout in the center of the marker dot, and it should be perfect.

f*ck rockstar

Small amount of blue tac smack bang right in the centre of your sniper scope, worked pretty well for me on CoD.

lol, your sight is in the middle of your screen and it never moves, whats on the screen moves and your bullets hit the exact center, provided you have your screen centered of course.

hard as &$#@! to see a white reticle against a white sky and white buildings.  I have a 70 inch tv and i sit about 15 feet away from it and its very hard to see unless against a dark color.

Why not just change it to the complex one in the game settings?  With that, you can actually see it.  Even easier, and less chance of ruining your TV.

Did you try changing the reticle in the options? Also I remember putting tape on my PC monitor to no scope in PC games lol.

You move your sights, since the center of the screen is where the sights are. However as was mentioned earlier I would NOT recommend this for anything but a glass screen.....

I did, and it was still very much useless.

This marker thing makes shooting from vehicles MUCH easier...

Or you could cut out a piece of tape in a small circle (Scotch tape) and put it in the middle.  You can use it like that (You can see the discoloration in the TV from the tape) or you can put a small red pen mark (gel pen) and it will literally glow, making it useable in all lighting Situations.  I use to use that trick for a few games to train my eye to look right into the middle.

M problem with aiming is that while driving its impossible to aim without shooting! That means you have NO reticle till you hit the fire button and the camera shifts down and to the left, making the spot at which you spray bullets nowhere near what was centered while driving. I honestly think Rockstar sabotaged capable driver-shooters on purpose (and suspect they've intentionally handicapped all drivers via loss of skill relevance).
