Rockstar, seriously, is missing a lot of things in GTA 5.
The game is great, i completed their campaign. I'm at 88.5%.

We can not go to the gym, learn new martial arts.
Explain the usefulness of putting a ramp and could not use it there?.

Where is the f*cking "Vigiliante Mission"? That was awesome!  was just killing (What was bad) but always liked playing as cop.
Think about it.

Why can not we get fat and lose weight?

Why the hell my character is changing the f*cking clothes?!

Why can not rob clothing stores? Only 24/7?

I do not remember if you like riding gangs.

The vehicle damage is ridiculous!

Come on, Rockstar Games.

What do you think is missing, guys?

Sorry my bad english.
Have a Nice Day!

I agree with you. Mostly.

in GTA IV you couldn't actually rob most clothes shops. Only Modo and there was only one of those in the map. I like the protagonists changing their clothes but I do agree it's annoying when you dress them up in some nice clothes and you'll never see them again unless your change them yourself.

I don't know about the losing weight thing. It was good but EVERYONE would just make CJ big and buff, including myself. It was a very small percentage that ran around as fatty CJ. Maybe they saw it was pointless? But gyms would be good because there was a strength levelup in this game.

1. The only thing the gym will do is increase strength and not how your character looks because engine limits.

2. This is not a cop simulator, it's GTA. I'm so glad they took that out.

3. Also because of engine limits, go make your own game with weight mechanics and see how that goes.

4. I actually agree with this one, but I guess you can't because it'll be impossible to buy clothes without the person you just robbed seeing you again

5. What?

6. Bumpers remove now, how is that bad? Plus, you blow up if you crash from an elevated area to the ground, much better than IV.

You can rob clothing stores. Just bring out your weapon before you enter, leave the door open and shoot the register open. Sometimes it'll let you keep your gun out, sometimes it won't. So just open the door and shoot the register then run in and grab the money.

Didn't Rockstar say it wasn't possible for the protagonists to loose and gain weight as it would f*ck up the textures? I remember reading something like that.

Why are you glad they took out an optional activity? If you don't want to play as a cop then don't. Simple. However there are many( obviously) who enjoy those missions and it's silly they didn't add it to the game

First off, they didn't just load up San Andreas and modify it. They wrote a new game.

It wasn't a case of "taking things out" it was a case of choosing what needed to be written in.

I would have preferred vigilante mode over yoga, sure, but I don't get what all this moaning is about. There is heaps to do in the game, and GTAO will give us a whole new experience on Oct 1.

You all realise that GTAO is a cop simulator right?

Most of it is cops and crooks, where players can choose to be Cops, with official uniforms, cop ranks, territorys set to patrol, Ability to check if a car is stolen and arrest other players.

Who needs vigilante missions when we get that on oct 1.

You all realise that GTAO is a cop simulator right?

Not just a Cop-simulator.

-Players can invest in their character through customizing their appearance,
improving their stats, owning customized vehicles, purchasing personal property,
choosing their favourite weapons and vehicles and taking part in missions, jobs and activities.

-Players have the freedom to explore alone or with friendswork cooperatively to
complete missions, band together to participate in activities and ambient events, or
compete in traditional game modes.

-As progress is achieved through the world of GTA Online, players will be introduced
to new characters, missions, rewards and such.

-A maximum of 16 players can be active at any one time as part of an online universe
of hundreds of thousands competing to earn Reputation Points (RP), money and almost
limitless material acquisition.

-As you speak into your headset, your GTA Online character will lip-sync broadly in time.
When robbing a store, AI characters will react to the urgency in your voice, stuffing money
more quickly in the bag.

-The Content Creator will allow players to create and share their own missions and activities via
the Social Club cloud. Other players can beat your target times and scores, then rate your mission.
You can even choose which creators you want to follow and curate your favourite missions.

-The Feed, a twitter-like program, appears on screen to relay all your emails, texts and messages
from Social Club.

-Rockstar has no plans to sell Grand Theft Auto Online separately, and it doesn't require a code,
online pass, or anything like that.

-The world of Grand Theft Auto Online will constantly grow and change as new content is added,
and at some stage GTA Online will head into new locations. Access to Grand Theft Auto Online is free
with every retail copy of Grand Theft Auto V and launches on October 1st.

GTA_V_Online_4.jpg

-Your ranking will be based off of shooting, driving, parachuting and flying skills.

-People can access their data through Social Club and via their iPhones or iPads.

-There is a mode called "passive mode" which means you can't shoot people and
they can't shoot you.

-A "Bad Sport" stat will be given for bad behaviour such as blowing up another
player's car, and if it's done persistently you will be punished.

-If your multiplayer character at Max Payne 3 had a high level, it will be carried
over to GTA: Online for more bonuses that you will unlock.

-Matchmaking is based off of ranking, so it prioritizes your friends' rankings,
crewmembers' rankings and even strangers so that when you need people,
you know who to get.

-GTA Online tracks who your rivals are and lets you know when they've come
online so you can get some revenge on them.

-The camera will zoom out and pan away to your online character seamlessly.
During the animation, a matchmaking process will be in progress.

-You can do almost anything you can do in single player in GTA Online.

-You can change weather, time of day, time you want it to rain or to be a certain
weather state, radio station to be tuned at the start of the race or mission in the Content Creator.

-You can watch races and deathmatches on your apartment TV.

-There are masks to hide from the cops.

-The Online will be run on the Social Club servers, data will be stored on the cloud.
There are data centers from NY to San Diego, and more Rockstar studios.

GTA-Online-customize.png

-You can assemble a team from your friends list, or recruit according to specialist skills.
As you rob a liquor store or perform a heist, the team member that does the job gets
the cash and can choose how much to share.

-It's possible to spread the wealth by sharing cash, weapons and ammo among your team.
In turn, they can 'defect' and try to steal your cash.

-You can pick up your phone to 'ring' friends in single player and invite them into your
world. Your friends will be listed under 'Contacts' on your phone.

-Set up challenges and post it to the Social Club and players can try and beat your
score, if they beat your score -- you give them cash.

-For certain heists you might need certain weapons, vehicles or characters such as a sniper
or a driver. This will also depend on the mission creator if you download the mission
from the Social Club.

-Some missions are so complex they need plenty of good communication.

-There will be descriptions to help each character on its heist function.

-There is something called "team lives". If you have 4 team lives and 4 people,
if everyone dies there will be 0 lives left, or if you die 4 times, the team will have
0 lives left, which means if anyone dies, it's mission failed.

GTAV-c.jpg

-You start GTA: Online arriving to Los Santos penniless and you must complete a
few missions first to get a feel of the online.

-There will be loads of property to buy at different prices, according to their views
and location. You can use your in-house CCTV to spy on people at your front door, or
take showers, surf the net, change clothes and watch the game's many TV channels.

-You can take out insurance and ring for a replacement car if yours gets destroyed.

-You can pay a personal mechanic to fix your cars automatically, or deliver them to
any location.

-You can also check any vehicle's stats for speed, handling etc, before making your
choice to purchase.

-You can watch real-time events such as police chases on your TV moments after you
see them speed past your house.

-Your custom cars show as markers on the map and get impounded if you leave them
too long. You can pay to retrieve them.

-You will be able to deposit your money into your bank account as often as you can.
When another player kills you, they can snatch the wallet right from your dead body.

-You can switch between single player and online mode by selecting your multiplayer
avatar from the character wheel.

-Passengers will be able to change the in-car radio, via a radio selection wheel similar
to the weapons wheel.

-You will have contacts available at anytime that will provide different services on or
off mission, as you rank higher you will have access to characters with new and
stronger abilities. Examples of such are being hidden from the radar and setting a
bounty on another player if you're being chased.

-If you steal a vehicle, you can spray and change the plates. Some vehicle customisation
businesses might not be willing to do that and you may get a wanted level.

-Weasel News will pick up people that have got wanted levels.

-There is a planning room in people's apartments.

-If you are in a heist and need some help, you can invite your friends and
they will be teleported to you instantly.

-The experience is seamless between transitions for free-roam and missions.

-You can call up a private security firm to bring in an airstrike, i.e. destroy street races.

gta2.png

-Each mission requires a rank depending on difficulty and complexity. The bigger your
rank, the more difficult the missions will be.

-There are around 700 missions in GTA Online. 500 will be available to play on release,
as more will be added eventually.

-Missions will be ordered randomly as you play Online.

Online gamers will be able to join crews or recruit crews with other online players. All crews will have a chain of command with leaders, commissioners, lieutenants, and hired thugs.
Crews can have online competitions with several modes, which include Gang Wars and Team Deathmatch (TDM).

Missions are crazy with several modes, such as Cops and Crooks mode (CnC mode), which supports up to 32 players.
Cop modes are interesting as there are several side missions, such as checking license plates with a police scanner and making arrests for stolen vehicles.

Players with a lower rank will be assigned to do low-level missions, also known as fetch quests.

On-the-fly missions can be launched with little to no organization.
With multiplayers such a feat can be possible, and let’s face it, it’s just fun.
Such a mission assigns each member n a multiplayer group a part in a robbery or heist, which will give a better chance of making off with a huge booty.

Reputation is important in GTA V as reputations are imperative for unlocking new missions and other goodies. As a reputation points (RPs) accumulate, players will be able to use favors from several non- characters (NPCs).

YES and they made South Central L.S. the smallest part of the city when in reality South Central takes up most the city. In San Andreas South Central took up most the city, why they make it so small this time. Plus, Why is South Central Soo Boring on there. No Action.

things I didn't like:

storyline was too short, only 69 missions+20 stranger/freaks. Really. I was expecting this record breaking 5 year development to be the biggest GTA to date, not only map size wise, it turned out to lose to GTA IV in its length. Very disappointing. Everyone knows the game turns into a loneliness simulator when you're finished with the missions, no matter how many side activities there are to do. The game had 3 characters, yet focuses on one storyline. Only a small portion of the missions focused on anything else but the shared drive on getting money.

From what I can recall, GTA san andreas was better than GTA 5 in it's campaign length+side activities such as boat/flying/driving school, delivery missions, collectibles, gang wars, and properties. And it came out nearly 10 years ago+took half the time to create it took gta 5.

Cop cars respawning in front of me coming to my direction on a one way road while wanted and having another cop car searching for me behind

glitchy car system, too many similar vehicles driving around (the jeep thing+the range rover looking car or w/e), but this depends on what part of SA you're at.

And what also pissed me off was the lack of diversity in NPC chosen radio stations; half of LS seems to listen to that spanish radio station that plays the horrible mexican songs that make me want to kill myself. Not really that big of a deal but it gets annoying when you hear the radio while on foot at certain places and near cars. I have 80 hours of gameplay and 100% completion and I've barely heard half of the remaining radio stations available. lol

This game could have used some more features in it too. There's 4 bail bond missions for trevor where you have to injure the people (shoot them once) in order to get them to surrender and deliver them to the destination. This is obviously a ripoff from RDR where you had to catch fugitives and whatnot and tie them up and deliver to the sheriff. In gta 5 there's the same idea but its created poorly. Why can't you just zip tie them and put them in your trunk? Would only seem logical when you take RDR into consideration with the lasso and the horse, but you just shoot them and they follow you anywhere and ride along in your car? Really? Rushed, poor judgement decisions by R* with lack of innovation and creativity.

And what's with the lack of diversity in melee weapons in HD GTA's? Again, since this is advertised as the biggest gta yet, I was expecting a way bigger variety in melee weapons than in GTA IV+dlcs. I've only seen a knife, nightstick, baseball bat and a golf club. GTA vice city/san andreas had chainsaws, screwdrivers, machetes, katanas, cleavers, butterfly knives, and everything that GTA 5 had. Why? Lack of effort in developing the bleeding graphics? It's this kind of stuff that made me wonder about what took them that long to make GTA 5.

Despite of all that, I think the game was a 9/10. I only wish it would have been superior in every way to its prequels, not just GTA IV, but all the way to vice city and san andreas.

I do wish you could go to the gym. If you go to the beach in Vespucci there's an outdoor work out center.. I tried to see if it would let me do anything but it appears it's just for show. I mean it could help raise stamina and strength. I also would've liked to see more gang affiliated things, I mean after all Franklin can get the familia tatted on him... Therefore saying is apart if it. Things like rival gangs will shoot on sight an occasional gang territory fight. Things like that

So you're telling me, in a game mostly based around getting to the top of the food chain by competing against other players, you're allowed to kill them and loot their money...But not blow up their cars? I suppose it's a good thing, as I wouldn't want my $10,000,000 to be destroyed by another player. But what about stealing?

This is an awful thing. Rockstar better not be punishing people with bans, ingame restrictions or warning for blowing up someone expensive car. It's just incredibly un GTA like.

Seriously when you kill someone its like GTA SA all over again. Just a simple plain old puddle forming again.

-A "Bad Sport" stat will be given for bad behaviour such as blowing up another
player's car, and if it's done persistently you will be punished.

From the interview I source, it just makes it clear that you're known to blow up cars or play dirty. Doesn't say anything about keeping you out of the game. If you play DayZ, it's like how it'll give you a bandit skin - so people know you're someone who might stab them in the back.

GtA V is great, but it gives me a sort of linear feeling when playing it, but at the same time having an openworld feel.

Like when you walk in your house or a store, you can't pull a weapon out.  You can't shoot your allies anymore.

And it felt kind of empty.  There are barely any friend hang out areas, besides tennis, golf, darts, strip club, bar, and movie.  Why take out pool and eating areas

I at least hope your car will be able to respawn, instead of having to buy it all over again. Like how the character vehicles in single player never go away.

Totally agree with main comment. These fa**ots need to fix or upgrade a f*ck ton of sh*t. If not this game will go down the drain fast. They f*cked up a lot of sh*t in this game. A LOT. Like wow the graphics are outstanding but the gameplay is kinda garbage n not worth 200 mill$

For the people saying it's not a cop simulator: no sh*t. It doesn't have to be a cop SIMULATOR. All I want is a mode where you can do things as a cop, sort of like the vigilante missions and what not. Does that mean you have to play it? No. There are a ton of people that enjoyed it though. I've always been fascinated by police in games and it would be fun to play on the right side of the law sometimes.
