http://www.psnstores...psone-classics/

The ESRB has re-rated the original duo of Grand Theft Auto games for PSP, PS3, and Vita implying a PS one Classics release is on the way. The two top-down GTAs will round out the series on PSN if and when they are finally released. Both listings were quickly removed from the site which could mean a release isn’t coming anytime soon

GTA I is unplayable (because of very, i mean - VERY ugly graphic) on HDTV screens, same as PSX version of GTA 2.

Yes, you're right, on Vita/PSP it may be playable and enjoyable!

Yeah! Btw did Rockstar remove GTA 2 from PS Store at some point cuz GTA Wikia says that the game is also available for download for the PSP?  :/ http://gta.wikia.com...nd_Theft_Auto_2

Because you CAN play GTA 2 on PSP. Not from PSStore (i dont think there was a GTA2 on PSN) but there is another way to play.
I played once GTA 2 on PSP. I use some tricky program to convert my PSX GTA 2 game to eboot working on CFWed PSP. It works, not perfectly (problems with sprites, framerate and radiostations) but playable : )

I never tried to run GTA I.
