I'm curious how many different interiors did GTA SA have?  It been so long ago that I don't quite remember.  Most of the fast food places are copy and paste.

It was a trade off for 90% of the game being lifeless

I don't remember SA having much interiors either, which was one of the grips that I had with that game as well.

Really, a grip? SA came out in 2004. Let me repeat, 2004 you f*cking idiot. Who gave a f*ck about interiors in SA? It did so much more from it's predecessors. It's hilarious you're complaining about the lack of interiors in an almost 10 year old game. SA was revolutionary in so many aspects. You were in freaking diapers when SA came out man.

SA had way more interiors than VC if you count the burglar missions. And SA didn't revolutionize that much, IV was the real revolution as well as III...

the burglar missions interiors were all copy pasted and IV didn't revolutinize nothing, it just improved it's graphics and got better physics but besides that it was a big backstep IMO

who wants interiors anyway - you go in them once and think "great", walk out and never go in again.

exactly what I sayd some days before... why waste memory on something you will see one time and than never use it again... so pointless

Are you a f*uckin retard or just trolling?? Do you even know how many DIFFERENT interiors SA had?? It's true a lot of them were copied but the burglar houses had some different interiors. For Christ's sake the only interiors Vice City had were the mansion, the club, the police station, the hotel, the mall and the restaurants if I'm not missing anyhting and SA had dozens of them, houses, hotels, clubs, bars, casinos, police stations, the area 69, gyms, restaurants, 24\7 stores, sex shops, clothing stores, barber shops and tatoos plus many more random interiors, go figure this out

There's just over 90 unique interiors in the files, but some are only available during missions, and some are completely unused.

During the meeting where R* would have discussed the idea of making a fully explorable ocean floor full of different things to see an intelligent member of staff should have raised their hand and objected, promptly reminding everyone that more interiors would be a much better option.

I can't see some more interiors taking up more memory, costing more money or taking longer to develop than the ocean floor so it amazes me why they opted for this. I know some people must enjoy the ocean floor aspect of the game but going by numerous discussions across the internet it seems that interiors are held in a much higher regard.

Thanks for answering my question, like I said to those who call me an "idiot" it been a long time since i last play SA so I don't remember.  Does seem in terms of interior V is a bigger downgrade from SA then I thought.

barber shops and tattos were a f*cking joke you coudn't even move in them, besides 24/7 stores and sex shops were the most useless interiors ever I was so f*cking dissapointed that you coudn't do sh*t in the 24/7... there was only one casino, had some houses (more copy paste), and yeah than there were the gyms and restaurant... that's it (area 69 has no interior only one for mission)... you call that much? LOL you obviously never played vice city kid that sh*t had tons of interiors, every property you bought had an interior not to mention the most epic of them all the big ass night club.. these were the real interiors, most of the interiors in sa were boring and useless

This. Some interiors are required, but the amount of interiors people are wanting is just dumb. Grow up. If we had interiors and no ocean floor people would complain about how unrealistic the ocean floor is because whenever they jump out of a helicopter into the ocean there should be an ocean floor not just bland sand bla bla

Dude, are you f*cking trolling me?? I played Vice City, I just named you all the interiors that it had and, you're the one that never played neither VICE CITY or SAN ANDREAS long enough, cause if you did you'd know most properties in Vice City never had an actual interior and were useless as well. You should know that area 69 was accessible anytime using a particular bike. In 24\7 you could buy drinks and play these little 3D games. Lol not to mention Madd Dogg's crib which was the biggest mansion interior in all GTA games. Las Venturas had 2 casinos not just one. There were night clubs as well in which you could dance unlike in Vice City's useless Malibu Club. Get lost or get your facts up right and then come talk to me

The reason interiors would be nice, would be so I could rob some liquor stores and banks.   I keep checking a million buildings to see if they have interiors, and only 0.01% of them do.

Vice City did have superior indoor structures.  the AIRPORT and the MALL alone were fkin great places to go and roam about.  Quality over quantity and Vice city beats San Andreas in that aspect.  San Andreas was still the better game but was lacking in great indoor buildings.

Are you sure? http://www.youtube.c...h?v=0rByZ6M659s That's one 24 / 7, there is others with snacks and drinks too on machines.

GTA:SA is the GTA game with more interiors to date, pure fact. It has multiple 24 / 7 interiors, multiple burger shots, restaurants, multiple cluckin bells, many houses, many for missions, many unused in the game but accesible on PC in SA-MP and MTA:SA, two or three police departments, area 61, etc...

San andreas had alot if you count burglary. most were just rehashes, but the major difference was they were loaded in, the whole map was unloaded, and the interior set was loaded instead, which is how the liberty city access was done.

GTAV doesnt like loading, and the map is ALOT bigger than any other gta game, so theres not as much space in memory for interiors, of which there are still a decent number
