they cant buy any garages? when you start the game each character has their own garage which can hold i believe 4 cars, they are colour coded on the map, like franklins is on grove street. you dont need to buy them you start with them

oh i got mine for free from the start, i think its a social club thing if you have a social club account you get them for free. but trevors is somewhere in the city

Garage for Trevor is called Pillbox Hill garage and it's located in the middle of LS (look at the black house icon with dollar sign on it). It costs around 30 000 dollars IIRC.
