So, i got this unused internal hard drive, and used it as an external. But after i used it like 15 times, it suddenly change from NTFS to RAW, and i can't view my files i put on it. So, i use a recovery program, and recover my data, and then formatted the drive.
And then I put my files back on it, and again, after i plugged in and out my external drive for about 15 times, the drive is change to RAW again, and said i need to format it so i can use it.

Is there any way to fix this? Still trying to save up some money, can't afford to buy an external hard drive right now, so i need to fix this one that i have.

Please, halp!!

Have you tried making the drive an internal drive to see what happens? That is if it's possible.

If the same thing happens with it being an internal then I would say the drive is damaged.

If it acts normal no matter how long you leave it in there, then the external enclosure is damaged some how.
