Only you. Anyway it's pretty lame to find that kind of inspiration from a video game.

No, but Breaking Bad inspired me to become a manufacturer of methamphetamine and fried chicken.

No, it just inspired me to be ambulance driver so I could run over innocent people.

So how was your big heist? Slipping that packet of gum into your pocket at the 7/11 must have taken months of meticulous planning. A modern day D.B. Cooper.

I don't think getting parking tickets and not paying them (O.G.Loc) counts.

Yeah it did. The other day there was a sign on the wall of the corridor at work saying "Wet Paint Do Not Touch" I touched. #ThugLife

Well I have been known to take a few cheeky steps on the innocent patch of grass that holds the sign "Keep off the Grass". It's tough living the life of a criminal sometimes.

Once I ate a grape from the grocery store before I paid for it.

When I was younger I went to the supermarket with my friend and his mum. I don't know why, I just did, and I deeply regretted it. His mum had some bread and kept picking at it and eating it for the entire shopping trip. It was horrible, I felt like a criminal. She ate a couple of grapes too. The voice in my head kept telling me "Look at her, she's eating it! She hasn't paid for it yet and she's f*cking eating it!!!" But I just had to silence it and go along. It felt like I'd been forced into a gang rape or something.

I felt so ashamed.

GTA inspired me to hold up a McDonald's truck and take all of their hamburger supplies inside, 40,000 of them, before selling these onto 'Mr J' for a profit, $20,000 (50 cents each, nice), which I invested into purchasing a managerial position at a local golf club where I can now take their carts easily to run over dog-walkers on the sidewalk to support my enterprise into the hot dog market.

If a game inspired you to do anything other than gaming.. should end yourself. It's a video game.

I see GTA as a game to give players the opportunity to do things, they will never do in real life because it's wrong or don't meet the requirements in real life to do so.

e.g. deep sea diving

I'd be wholeheartedly baffled if GTA could remotely "inspire" anyone here in any way, seeing as many of you (according to the search engine) have never even once posted in any of the GTA sections. You see, that amounts to the logic (or lack thereof) of joining a military forum and discussing nothing except football.

That is the reason why GTA gets the mature-rating. It should only be played by people who do in fact have the maturity to play games like these ones. To answer the question, no, GTA did not inspire me to become criminal, and I am not criminal, either. It's just a videogame.

GTAF is a place where you don't feel like you have to post in the sections that have something to do with the actual theme of the forum. It's just that long-time members tend to not post in the GTA sections, mostly in the pre-release time of a new game. They are still fans of the series after all. The amount of posts in a given section does not always indicate your level of liking for a given subject.

My lastest thread is reporting a GTA V incident, current located in the "Gaming" section but I have rquested it moved. Still getting used to the new forum layout.

Yes.  GTA has inspired me to be a criminal.

I tend to speed and be a way more aggressive driver after having played GTA for a few hours.  It's been that way since III.

Haven't shot anyone, or pushed an old lady down the steps yet....Yet.

Video games can inspire in a positive way, just like movies can, or books, otherwise why would many of these stories have morals to them? for sh*ts and giggles? I think not.

@King Andreas

more people post in gta sections than don't, but most people who post there and nowhere but there are shorter term members, people who will probably leave soon after joining, this forum has got such a huge user-base and has so many regular revisits from users because we can discuss what the f*ck we want. Sports, our favourite movies, music, the weather, the price of wheat, anything.
