Why does PS3 constantly drop frames comparing to Xbox? I dont own a console and havent played the game yet, but how is the pop-in and frame-rate on PS3?

Looks fine when I play.

If you care about dropping frames/pop-in then wait for the PC version. We all knew there would be sacrifices graphics-wise.

How are we supposed to know? All I care about is the fact that mines runs extremely fluid.

I for one don't feel that on the PS3 version is gets as low as 20fps. This is why I hate these tests, they should do this test with an SSD, I promise you the performance is incredibly different.Worked with other games like skyrim as well.

Well if you have your system online, or downloading something, or it has extremely low hdd space left, it can run slow

The jitteriness could also be the video itself dropping frames, not the source material?

My PS has had no problems at all. 120gb with about 40-50gb used.

I don't have a problem with mine, it runs extremely smooth. As others have said it could be the video itself not the game.

Everyone who is saying that he doesn't have this problem is either lying or has really bad eyes...

Feels fine. There's very slight frame rate drops at certain points but it is not enough to be distracting. But usually multiplatform games perform better on Xbox 360 because of how much easier it is to code for it or whatever.

I bought a new PS3 when I picked up GTA  and so far I've seen FR drop once when I was in a 4 star chase and a train ploughed through 3 police cars.

My buddy running the game on a launch PS3 is havin no end of trouble.

Running on a ltd silver slim PS3, 250GB HD.

So far no problems, sometimes a bit of texture popping, very rare. But hey this is Grand Theft Auto, have we ever known different? No.

The whole world is pretty much seeable without draw distance, texture popping will happen sometimes. This is running on 500mb RAM. It's  a miracle the game is even working at all.

Dear God, here we go. Listen ive been playing this game for hours now on PS3, I wouldn't be doing so if it was in any shape or form, bad. It looks Ace. People who say different are just looking to stir the pot.
