Gameplay problems? I've had a flawless experience so far

Your sig says you were off until you finished the game?
Changed your mind?

+Varied missions.
+Great story.
+Great features.
+Good graphics.

-Few interiors. (Casino, Burgershot, Cluckin Bell, Nightclubs)
-Expected a few more minigames like gambling, gym, pool etc.

Almost perfection for me. :) 9.5/10

Well, no. It isn't.

It's a really great game and I love it, but it's very far from being perfect.

Same here. No more circling around doors, trying to make your character enter them. No more deaths because of a lackluster aiming system. Everything is tight and responsive.

Like I read some of the negative posts on here, and I feel like I've been playing a completely different game than them.

This is what I mean by overhyping. A "flawless" experience. Not a single thing wrong with it. Really??

Here's 2 already.

Can't save photos unless Social Club is online. You can't just save to your 250gb HD and you're limited to 99 images (I think?). I want to take 1000 photos of places.

Movement is poor/sluggish because the analog stick isn't utilised well. You can't decide your walk speed. He either walks or stands, making it difficult to navigate along edges of buildings or manoeuvre, especially if you move it far enough where the step animation occurs. It's not "tight and responsive".

And the usual problem in every GTA is that they take a long time to get into cars when being shot at, etc.

Are you high, this animations are super, super fluid.

He didn't say they are not fluid.

- He said that entering a vehicle while being shot at takes too long. He is absolutely right. Movement is fluid but too slow.

- He also said that it's not possible to sneak. Characters only have 3 kind of speeds. Standing still, walking, running. He is right with that too.

Of course all of these are "first world problems" - but saying the game is perfect is wrong. And he says why. Another example: You cannot jump while walking upstairs…

game is great..... i cant even name a huge problem with the game yet...

the driving needs to be improved but its not that big of a problem like some make it seem...the physics need to fixed as well id say this is more important than the car driving because crashing into some walls and things only causes dents ...

but besides that nothing much ...i guess i need to play the game a lil more to find the other things... but so far its great..alot better than IV and i liked that game as well

Hey V8Vantage, just had a thought when reading your comments. Might seem obvious but have you checked if your disk has a smudge or smear on it? I imagine the disk would have trouble loading data if that were the case and maybe that'd cause what you're seeing?

I did think that but my disc is clean, thanks for the help though. :)

Perfection is literally an inhuman concept.

Please stop overhyping it. It has most of the same gameplay problems GTA IV has. If you think V is perfection, then you must think IV is too.

Nobody is overhyping anything, everybody has a different opinion on the game, which is not a fact. I thought people understood this by now but hey, it's the internet...

This game rocks! I'm pretty sure Rockstar was going for part-realism and part-arcade. It's not as silly as Saint's Row or as arcadey as Midnight Club LA, but there's no way I'd want to play this game with GTA IV vehicle mechanics.

By the way, has anyone poured a gas trail and lit it on fire yet? It's AWESOME!

Only in missions.

I've tried to shoot a cars gastank to make a trail … it didn't work for me in free roam sadly.

I agree with you. This game is amazing. One of my absolute favorite elements that they added for V is the seamless cut scenes. The way it just blends in with the gameplay is amazing...
