Is there an easier way to buy shares, instead of just one at a time?

Stocks are via Internet on your phone (keypad up, bottom center icon). The two markets are LCN (offline) and BAWSAQ (online) under Money and Services on your internet browser homepage. Multiple stocks can be bought by holding down A/X on the green plus sign. The longer you hold it, the fast your share request will rise.

All of this was in the previous pages of this thread but here you go!

I did not find some concrete answers in this thread, and on the internet .....

Just some quick questions!
Can I use the stock market to something when I have completed the whole story? (LCN Stock)
Or is it just worthless when I have done the whole story???
Are there any opportunities. that I can do something in the game that will affect the market in some ways?
Some of you say yes, other says no?!?!?! :/

Go on the internet on your phone or laptop in the game. Click on the heading that says "finance" or something like that. Click on the first result from the search. Click on "market". This gives you a list of the companies you can invest in. Click on a company. Then click "buy stock" or whatever it is. Click the plus sign for how much sock you want then click "buy".

Think that's right, was typing from memory there

Stock market (LCN) is not useless after the the last story mission; however, some of the Lester missions, which focus on stocks, require you to invest in companies in the BAWSAQ exchange,

Spoiler
I hope this helps!

I have about 35 Million, and 3 Lester Assassination missions left, can I still get to the 150 million required to purchase the golf club?

Based on 1.5x each mission it would at least bring you close. Some are 1.8x or even 2.4x

Ok thanks. Mine seems to be hanging at 24.11 %. I'm leaning towards selling it before it drops.

Bilkinton/Betta (Hotel Assassination mission):

Sell anything you have invested in Bilkington. Lester mentions he invested heavily in Betta, but I didn't see them in the LCN. Are they somewhere else?  I also noticed DollarPills tank as well.  Once Bilkington bottoms out after the mission, though (the low for me was around $120/share), feel free to invest in them again as it spikes up again.

After reading this stupid thing I*ve invest all my money into bilkinton because I have trust you.

I bought it for 90$ and it was all the time falling down until 34,75$ and stayed there. No raise up.

I am really angry about that, why do you post this into the net, if you*re planless? Your tip is no good tip.

And why couldn*t you find BETTA? I have found it at once.

I reload my last memory and invested all my money into BETTA and it raises well.

So remember all others: Invest into Betta after this mission and when you have made 10% intrest, sell it a few and hold the rest until you need money or till you see it falls.

I couldnt find it either until i found this thread.  I read somethign earlier about how it was attached to other players actions so I thought it was part of the online thing that hasnt launched yet and I didnt think much more about it.  come to find out I had to link my account, did that and now it works. I might have to start over too.  I was getting all these stock tips for sh*t that wasnt showing up so I missed a lot of the opportunities.

Okay lets say it was unaviable to buy at the time when he post it.

I am sure he saw how his investment into bilkinton falls down.

Why is he writing to us "feel free to invest" and more of this skunk when this stock shouldn*t be bought?

May I ask you something else?

there is a mission where Michael is left by his family. After his family is leaving him, his unfaithful ugly smallboobed wife steals 3.000.000$ from the bank account.

What would hapen if I buy some stocks or houses until un my bank account are only 100$ left?

Can Someone play this mission with less then a billion or can please someone say the name of this mission? I*e forgot it.

But I really want to have the 3.000.000 Billion dollars back, a small boobed unfaithful ugly wife and a Porno-daughter isn´t worth this much.

There are plenty of guys who made youtube videos discussing GTA V stocks, though, but their info is mostly vague or incorrect.  One guy even said to invest in stocks with high prices cause it indicates that they are a successful company and their stock values will slowly rise!  Tell that to someone who invested in Lifehacker or Merriweather early on!

Yeah well remember MOST, not all, of the YouTube douchebags are only in it for the views and ad rev, not because they actually know something or are being helpful. Remember to ALWAYS have your adblock on whist watching that clambake of a video community now... it's usefulness has run it's course and it's simply filled with carpetbaggers & snakeoil salesmen. As for the stock market advice, I can't find anything worth while either. Time will tell, on these games it takes a while. I remember when Skyrim came out, but now the wiki is incredibly helpful. Hopefully the GTAV wiki will be too.

Betta pharmaceuticals is on the Bawsaq. I know this seems silly but it is most profitable to wait to do Lester's missions until the end of the main story. Anyone who knows the stock market knows it takes a substantial amount of money to make substantial profit. Even if it's a hundred percent return. By waiting to do them until the end you will quadruple your money or more. I f*cked up and did the first two. I'm waiting for the rest. If you pay attention to the story there is money to be made though. I put 250k in vangelico when it went down as it sits now I've made 100k on that investment. 52k off bilkington from a 100k investment just from the stock bouncing back after the assassination mission. Didn't buy until it bottomed right out though.

yea this is good advice.  I did a few of those missions already but eventually figured out that I A. I wasnt getting paid, and B. didnt understand the stock tips because none of them showed up on my market because I hadnt linked my social club account.  Now that I got that squared away I see them but dont have much money to invest.  If you want max profit save them till later for sure.

I also missed out on the tinkle tip from the random hichhiker guy and who knows what else because I played to far without knowing everything, haha! DAmnit, gonna have to play it again knowing what I know now and it will be way different.

So I just went to do the 3rd assassination mission involving Fruit shares. Before I did the mission I went on all characters and bought every single stock I could with the money I had, then did the mission. I was looking at the stock change and I was up around 30%, so I thought I would wait until I saw it peak more and wrote down what it was currently at. When I saw it start to drop I decided to reload last save and sell the stocks, only to realise now they are at HALF of what they previously were, and now I don't know how to get them back up. Anyone have any ideas or had this problem also?

I just had this happen to me with the 1st assassination mission. Watched Betta stock go upto 372 and Bilkinton drop to 72. I know I wasn't seeing things because the way I remembered when I saved my game was remembering they both ended in '72.' turned game off for awhile and when I booted it back up, Betta is at 308 and Bilkinton continues to drop below 72. What gives? I have a second save from right when then assassination ended so I can always try again. Just frustrating that reloading/restarting the game seems to effect the stock market.

Hi, those of you who are near the ending of the game or have already finished the storyline. Can you tell me the prices of the stocks of vangelico jewelry on your side?

Also, does replaying heist mission increase the skill members of the crews?

Lots of helpful info in this thread, thought id add my experience to help out.

I did the first assassination mission and invested in Beta as suggested.... I dumped in all my cash from the three characters and was waiting patiently to let the stock reach its high before I sold. I created multiple game saves to let me go back in and catch it at its highest point. Just as the other poster claimed, Beta reached 372 for me me, and hovered around there. I wanted to play it safe and switch to Michael to sell off his shares first (he had the largest investment and I figured there was a chance the price might go back down if I started selling off m shares, so I wanted to get the highest price for him. I can't recall exactly how it happened, but I went back in to my most recent save, and the price on Beta  was around 290 (a 40% gain), and I figured it would just take some time to get back. The price wasn't going up as fast, and I wasn't sure if maybe it had reached its peak without me seeing it, so I went back to my save again. After that, the highest price Beta was getting to was 302 (a 50% gain). I was curious about this number so I tried a couple more times to reload to the save immediately after the assassination, and each time it got to the 302 price and never went past an exact 50% gain.  I sold off all of my shares with all the characters and got a solid return (I had invested nearly $1.1 mil from Michael after the first heist, Franklin around $270k, and Trevor only had about 20k left after I purchased the hangar.

IMO, I believe returning to the saved game must have created some kind of trigger to cap my gains at 50%. Similiar to what the other poster experienced, the Beta price never returned to its peak of 372 (I wrote down the price of $372.01 for reference, which was close to 90% gain or so). Because the price halted at this price in the range of $302 (the only specifics I recall was exactly % gain), I'm led to believe that this was deliberately coded into the game. It is strange to me that Betta is listed under the BAWSAQ, which is supposedly the "live" online market that is effected by the community, and the LCN fluctuates based on ingame activity. This being said, it would make sense that returning to the saved will not adjust the BAWSAQ prices which are determined by online activity. It's obvious that Betta is the exception to this rule since the in-game assassination triggers the swing in the stock.

I apologize for the wordy post, but I wanted to give as much info as possible to see if anyone else has experienced this, as it seems that GTAhole and myself have. It was painful to see my gains nearly slashing in half (at $372 it was a return of close to 90%) which cost me several hundreds of thousands of dollars. My advice to anyone else that is playing the market during this mission (you'd insane not to) is to hold Betta until it reaches upwards of a 70% gain prior to dumping the stock. I tried to get greedy by returning to the old game saves. Also of note, Bilkington dropped to $102 and decided to buy as much as I could with all the cash I netted from the Betta sale. After half a dozen of real time hours,Bilkinton hasn't increased by more than 10 cents a share. After reading another poster who lost a lot of money by pouring so much cash into it. Since I have yet to see any impactful gains, I'm not sure if it's worth the risk.

Does anyone who finished the game have any details on whether Bilkington recovers? I plan on saving the other assassinations to the very last so I have more money to invest. To sum it up, don't reload an old save during this mission or you will lose the chance to gain more than 50%. Also, does anyone have advice on which real estate purchases yield the best returns? I've heard this unlocks new in game missions depending on which business's you purchase. It seems like it will take a while to recoup that investment unless the missions have an additional bonus pay out each time you complete a mission to protect your business. I need to do something to put the cash to use besides buying stocks when they are near their previous lows and hoping that I don't take a hit and lose a significant amount of money. It seems like real estate is the best bet, but I could also just save the cash untili the next big stock tip that will give me an even larger gain.

Mission-related tips:

Note: prices apparently vary per game

Vangelico heist:

Sell anything you have invested in them before this.  Afterward, wait til it bottoms out around $35/share before buying any.  Not sure if there's a competing gem company to invest in before-hand, didn't see one.

LifeInvader (prototype swap mission):

Sell anything you've invested in them before this mission cause it'll tank badly.  And I wouldn't bother ever investing in them again, as I tried when it bottomed out but it never really recovered.

Redwood/Debonaire (Multi-Assasination mission):

Before you even start this mission, sell anything you have invested in Redwood, and invest everything you've got into Debonaire.  Don't do it during the mission cause there's a tight timer. And be sure and not to forget doing this for ALL THREE CHARACTERS. I was in a hurry and only did it for Franklin. Debonaire's stock will go from about $200 to about $400.  When the mission is over, wait a good few minutes as the stock value will continue to rise.  Mine eventually peaked at $399.42, so go ahead and sell when it gets to that point. After Debonaire stocks have peaked, sell and invest back into Redwood stocks when it hits rock bottom. The stock will climb back up.

Merriweather (Dockyards secret government device mission):

Sell anything you have in Merriweather before this mission as it'll dive a bit.

Green is my note to ADD

Bilkinton/Betta (Hotel Assassination mission): Can anyone confirm Bilkinton stocks go back up after the Hotel Assasination? I think this topic has been skipped couple times. Instead of just investing on what will rise, we should also pay attention to the fall of the companies affected and when to take action when it rises. I missed out on the Multi-Assasination and i think I could have tripled my money if I invested into Redwood right after I sold my Debonaire stocks.

Merriweather (Dockyards secret government device mission): What is the stock symbol for Grupper6? What is the rock bottom and peak for Merriweather stocks after this mission?

The Bus Assassination: Sell Vapid (VAP on the Bawsaq) before the mission but buy Vapid after the mission (i got a ~25% return)

The Vice Assassination: Buy Fruit (before the mission FRT on Bawsaq I got ~145% return)

The Construction Assassination: buy GoldCoast (GCD on LCN) before the mission (max I got was around ~82%)

Please contribute to this if there are opposing companies to these last 3. This would be a great note to add because this not just doubles your money, but triple if you invest wisely when certain companies are down.

Furthermore into my compilation.

Just went back to beginning of the game to compare to later into the games stocks.

Only notice in change was :

ARK - AnimalArk - ^3

MAX - MaxRender - ^$5

SSS - Slaughter - ^$3

Of course there are those stocks that have plummeted but those have been discussed and should be sold before certain assasinations. Again, please contribute the lowest you see these dropped stocks assasination missions and if they regain back up later in the game.

AnimalArk may be the only one worth investing in, I put my money into this after multi-Assasination mission and seen it go up a little. I see it as a good safe keeping. I saw someone on here say the stocks will go up triple if you keep the stocks from when you get the 100k for the stolen bike. Hopefully sometime further into the game this is true. I will continue to speculate and post up.

Also in comparison, I do not believe causing destruction or killings at franchises will affect the stock prices of either competing companies. From the comparisons the stocks change very minor, $1-2, this could just be an in game fluctuation, The daily change information also looks to be false. There hasnt been drastic changes other then mission related stocks so following them would be a mistake. This speculation further proves causing mayhem at franchises will raise stock prices are false.
