Let's hope the chick @ IGN that made the video review exaggerated a little bit.

She said there would be controversial content. And a mission to be specific.

I just don't like it when great games get overshadowed by such discussions.

Erm. Hasn't GTA in general always been controversial? I mean it has always been about stealing cars and killing people...

Yeah, the waterboarding mission is a little hard and maybe the way Trevor gets introduced might be a little overwhelming. But overall it's not that extreme in my opinion.

Introduction of Trevor is one of the best things in game after Lazlow.

I don't really care as long it's not extremely brutal or controversial and doesn't fit in the game.

I just don't want these stupid Post launch discussions about "controversial, inappropriate stuff that crosses the line.

And by the way there are more disturbing scenes than this ( for example particular death of someone who looks like Obama  at Griffith observatory )

So, you're fine no matter what's shown or featured in video game?
Like rape, kidnapping, and all sorts of nasty sh*ts?
You're f*cking disgusting.

I did......

My comment is still relevant. GTA in and of itself has always and will always be controversial for the simple fact that it always has revolved around grand theft auto, and killing.

All of that is on TV/movies so what is the difference? Do you work for Fox? Is it okay to have disturbing tv shows/movies but not disturbing video games?

Even with the torture mission I bet the usual suspects will still end up complaining about the uncovered boobs in the game.

The difference is, when you're watching a movie, you're just the one that is seeing like someone gets raped. When you're playing a game (Yes I know, it's just a Videogame)

You ARE controlling the char you are executing the action. And it can happen that you feel uncomfortable and when you feel that a certain action is out of context or simply crossing the line.

Good example.

I've never bought a CoD in my life and I don't care about the franchise but one of the few things I know about it, is that Modern Warfare 2 had very controversial mission that annoyed some fans.
