Yay another fake app was posted earlier today, how many fake apps have been posted at this point? 3-5?

I posted the following in the comments yesterday of the companion app article that is steadily reaching 5000 comments:

What really gripes my gears is in the actual article it states "Both of these free digital apps will be available for download beginning today, and we will update this post with *more information and download links as they become available throughout the week* for other platforms and devices."

Apparently that update got delayed for at least a month as that week has passed and nothing has been released on the status of development of the app for other devices/platforms...

I bought Beyond:Two Souls earlier this week and along side the game's launch Sony released a companion app that allows users to control the game with their smart devices... The app was readily available on all the popular platforms launch week... and here we are waiting for R* to release an app for game that came out over a month ago....

They don't release the app anytime soon. Rockstar are ignoring the Newswire item about the app and we didn't heard anything for about a month.

...But life goes on...PS4 is on the way...Screw the GTA app!!

Well, that part doesn't surprise me. But the part that it isn't compatible with my device that got 4.3 certainly does. Really, Rockstar..? Not only we have to wait over a month for the app but it seems also not compatible with some or even lots of devices regardless of the version. At least the size (about 240 MB instead of 444 MB on iOS) is smaller.

What´s the purpose of this app now that youve completed the game? They shouldve released it from the start....

Am I the only one with "Item not compatible with your device" problem? I'm using Xperia SP which is running on Jelly Bean 4.1.2.

Saying incompatible for my device despite running on Android 4.0.3. Great work.

The app sucks anyways. Turn off the Spot notifications because they are too frequent and annoying. You can already visit the social club without the app. Los Santos Customs is broken because there is no way to designate which car you want to customize; it seems to assume whichever car you've been driving a lot lately is the one you want to customize, so I often end up with Michael's A4 or Franklin's Buffalo.

That thing won't work for my phone.

Does the app ask for social club ID/email? If yes, I might use a different phone.

Works on my Nexus 7. Benefits of pure android I guess.

So far I've fitted a custom plate to my Online main's Elegy, paid for an upgrade I hadn't quite unlocked but been charged in game (then had to pay again when I unlocked it). Played with chop for probably the only time I'll bother...can't seem to fit the same custom plate to another car unless I change its colour?

Accessing the social club will be useful to me because its actually intended for touch interface, unlike the standard browser version. Specifically, I can toggle settings on the checklist map without wanting to smash my tablet. Now that I can view 'not found' letter scraps and UFO parts I'll start hunting them for 100%

Yeah I felt the exact same way when I first got the app - I have an iPhone 5c so my phone runs it perfectly from day one. Once you have it for a month you will begin to realize how crappy it really is and how little it offers in reality. The best part is the custom license plate (I reserved "LUV2BLZ" cuz I did it on the first day on my iPhone haha) which looks nice in yellow-on-blue on a yellow Elegy RH8 with a blue racing stripe. And yeah Spot acts a little better as if he did great sh*t anyways haha.

This is absolutely f*cked up, how many android phones can actually run it because i and friends all have different phones all with the latest android versions, all dual core and none of us can run it.

Was it not enough to take money from Apple to make it IOS exclusive now have you made Samsung pay to make it a GalaxyS3 exclusive because judging from the reviews on the playstore they are the only f*ckers who can run it!

I don't even care about the sh*tty app i just want a personalised plate and now all the decent ones will be gone anyway, really Rockstar after everything we've put up with during this atrocious release this is what you offer?

No wonder they never announced anywhere just release it quietly, this isn't an Android version it's just the IOS version bundled with an emulator, they really couldn't care less about their customers, need to have a look at Gearbox to see how a developer should treat their fanbase

This.

A totally pointless and now way overdue app that is no use to anyone and that barely works. I've uninstalled it.

Android 4.0.3 on a HTC Evo Design and. . . not compatible. This app release was a complete fvcking disservice. Too late and by now hardly useful. Just an annoying reminder of how pissed I was to know ifruits had first dibs.

On the ifruit app, main screen when you have chop the dog up. When he is just walking around the room that has a trash can on the left and on the right he has at top a bowl of food, then its his water dish, then its his dog leash then a present and then a ribbon. His leash will not stop flashing. When chop was hungry or thirsty they would flash as well. So I fed and watered chop they stopped flashing. I can not get chops leash to stop flashing. Is it suppossed to stop flashing? I have done the activities involved where you are walking him. Didn't know what was up but that thing will not stop flashing. Please help.

My HTC phone came out last November and can't run this App. What BS. Wtf was Rockstar thinking?

They advertise a cool feature (license plate customization) in May and now I can't even use it.

I love R* I really do but this is just f****** horrible. Somebody screwed up big time at R*
