I'm have no complaints with the current amount of content, but this might make sense.

I think when it's officially released there will be a day 1 patch to include more content.

Rockstar must've known the game would be leaked prior to release so they may have kept some content unreleased until the 17th (or maybe locked). Obviously they didn't lock much of it because they knew footage would be leaked so didn't want to deter people away from the game.

For example, there are multiple barbershops around the city, yet only a few haircuts per character? Seems to be a waste at the moment.

What about a bunch of iFruit apps to be released?

And the Casino?

Have we got more to come?

I don't see rockstar doing this. There's a lot of people who don't have internet access to install a patch.

It wouldn't be fair to those people to miss out on a large amount of content.

Only patch needed is a tampon for some of these morons whining about handling and car damage.

Who knows but there are things they can tweak very easily like adding more haircuts or changing the handling of the cars and whatnot with a patch. Maybe there will be one. Let's wait and see.

Makes a lot of sense about the apps, but they could be mirco-tranactions.

So how would people be able to fix bugs if there's not a patch just because some people don't have Internet?

It wouldn't be large amounts, maybe 10mb patch just to fix a bit and update some other things.

Yes - heck, the mandatory 8GB install meant a lot of people with the 4GB Xbox would have to invest in new storage devices, isn't this the same principle?

In this day and age, if you dont have internet you dont deserve to be playing GTA 5.  Why would you have an xbox and not have an internet connection in your home?  Most xboxs have wireless connection now adays anyway.

If they forgot about the PC people then tthey couldnt care less about people without internet.

They also made GTA ONLINE, does that also mean they forgot about the people without internet? Jesus.

If Rockstar released a patch, where would all the people without internet be? I think this is the final game, but a lot of things don't make sense. I watched a livestream the other day where this guy went to buy clothes and you could see everything inside the store, but you couldn't go inside.

You guys are over thinking this WAAAAY too much. There's going to be no day 1 patch with extra content. Sorry but there isn't. They're not going to purposely lock reviewers out of content simply because they think the game may leak. Games ALWAYS leak. Obviously Rockstar doesn't want that to happen because then you have morons on the forums saying crap like "OMG NO CAR DAMAGE" or "WTF you can't rob stores CONFIRMED". When in reality, those things aren't true because people are leaking tiny bits of the game here and there, then jumping to conclusions. Sure, there may be a day 1 patch to help fix some bugs Rockstar have discovered since the game went gold, but there's going to be no added content within a patch because of these insane theory's you guys are drawing up.

You retards just don't get it, the patch is on the disc it's self, you don't need internet all you need to do is wait for these numbers 17092013 or 09172013. The patch is date and time enabled, so until then the patch won't activate. R* tricked the people who thought they were clever for getting the game early.

Patching is just that...patching, fixing glitches and the likes, not for adding big changes and content into the game.

If you can think of a day one patch that has implemented many brand new fully fledged features into a game then please make me aware of it because as far as my knowledge serves me it has never happened.

Seriously, they need to shut the f*ck up until they have the game. Everybody who has played the game says the handling is great. Why the hell would Rockstar even patch something that isn't broken? Do people want less realistic cars? People will bitch about anything, I even bet people will start complaining that the map is too big; since most people here are hypocrites it seems.

By the way, I doubt there will be a day one patch. So what if there isn't that many haircuts? It's a tiny, insignificant feature that has no impact on the game at all; in other words, DEAL WITH IT.
