Why did Rockstar lie about interiors? There's barely any in GTAV.

Yeah I agree, in compensation for the whole map being unlocked from the beginning, I'm sure Rockstar decided that we must unlock certain stuff throughout the game which includes interiors. Perhaps the airport terminal becomes unlocked after we perform a heist there? no?

You guys are all wrong
my friend is currently playing the game on ps3 and believe me or not, U CAN ENTER.
1. How much money u carry at the moment?
2. You have to complete one important mission. Check youtube to unlock it. If u are on xbox its an achievement that tells u.."xyz...is unlocked"

This time R* has tighten the access with how you explore.
It may be due to some console limitation that most interiors will line up slowly for access.

Yea a guy I know said the same thing, he said Casinos are accesable later in the game and you can gamble in them... Besides rockstar has confirmed that you can customize your dog but in every live stream you don't see any dog shop (or whatever it's called) open right? This obviously means stuff will unlock later in the game... GTA San Andreas had something similiar, there was only 1 casino in the game which you could only acces about 60% ingame (because it was in the third city). They probably did they same here but since the whole map is unlocked since the beginning they decided to unlock stuff throughout the story

makes sense. GTA IV has features that aren't unlocked until you start into the storyline. I've already seen that

Spoiler

Yeah many people think that since the map is unlocked since the beginning that all the rest is unlocked too but I think rockstar made that on purpose so people think "damn you cannot enter a casino :/" but then you advance through the storyline and they give you acces to it... adds the element of suprise and makes it hard for this stuff to be revealed since most leaks and live streams are just free roaming at the beginning of the game

I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to enter stuff like Burger Shot and Hospitals and sh*t like that, my guess is that it's unlocked as you play the story.

Or at least Youtube link of the video you are talking about.

why?
I dont want to spoil the fun to satisfy you who doesn't have the game yet!
It is not good, imo
just let the op explore and he will find out how all this things work out.
Besides, any player who has read the game guide supplied with the copy, should not have asked about interiors at all.
There is the map also detailing them.
All you need is some patience.
Really, such questions come up when you dont immerse yourself completely.
Read the manual, OP!

It is really dissapointing.  I cant see this game having a lot of extra entertainment value after the main story is completed.  Which is a shame because thats the polar opposite of what a sandbox should be.  Ah well.  When it releases on PC, hopefully we can take care of these issues this time around if someone will make a damn map editor.  I'd love to make some of my own interiors to add and hopefully write a few scripts to populate those areas.

Oh well, maybe things will be better next time.

Why do I get the feeling that they are going to make gta online have even more than the single player? Like interiors and stuff.. I feel like gta online
is really going to be something big and single player is just the build up for it.

Sucks for us folk that can't get PSN or Xbox Live. GTA was one of the only games that we could spend a lot time with after the storyline.

Im still pretty skeptical of their multiplayer modes as well.  I'd much rather wait for a proper multiplayer mod on PC, similar to sa-mp.

I think there are many places you just don't know at the moment. Like the hotel at GTA 4, you has to enter over the roof. Or the the taxi garage later at the storyline.

I really hope the nightclubs, mall, casino and such are unlocked further in the story.

The interior count is really starting to worry me.

none of this makes any sense. why would the interors be fully detailed if we can't have access? this must surely mean that we can enter at some point in sp, or pudding pop aint pop ular.

Because they're going to be DLC.

Its really not that far off.  I'm also looking forward to other, more entertaining games than this to keep me occupied in the mean time.  Plus once te PC version comes out ill still mess around with the included multiplayer until someone makes a mod.  Which im sure at one point there will be a mod, since there was a team organizing when 5 got announced.  Plus I have a PS3, so really, waitings not much of a problem since I have plenty of things to occupy my time with.

Made a new thread:

http://gtaforums.com...rior-locations/

I figured its cleaner and better than all those 100's of threads with little to no reliable info.

If you know off any interiors or rumored ones post there so we can update. Hell might even make a map of all unmarked sh*t as well.

Rockstar lied because they want you to by the game. Duh.

While the game itself is great and has true GTA genes, Rockstar misled us on several fronts.  When will I ever learn?  :/
