So because some people have now got access to the game. I was wondering about the graphical fidelity for both versions, specifically PS3 as I ordered one for GTA and don't want to be dissapointed having heard GTA IV was less then acceptable on the playstation. I'm just wanting them to use all 7 SME cores for the PS3 this time lol.

Again, you cannot compare it to IV, as its development process was entirely different, being developed on the 360 and ported to PS3 and PC. V has been developed for the 360 and PS3 in tandem, and differences, if any, will be sparse and minuscule. Stop worrying about it.

The video comparison seems to have mysteriously vanished; must have been a legitimate leak. :ph34r:

Yeah, I found that quite unfitting, too. I hid it so it didn't pollute the topic further. I know it's difficult at the moment, but try just focusing on the useful, relevant replies, however sparse they may be. :)

GTA V on X360 looks more colorful and brighter. On PS3 is smoother though, but it's not as

'happy" as 360 Version. Keep in mind, it's from my PoV, the others could be different.

I would also like this. I heard that most of the trailers were shot on the PS3. Which was nice and smooth looking like above post mentioned.

* The PS3 runs a little smoother

* The Xbox 360 have slightly more anti-aliasing

* The Xbox 360 is more colorful (this is noticeable)

* The Xbox 360 have a better distance line (this is a little noticeable)

Since both version have already leaked, from what I'm reading, graphics are basically the same, but the framerate is a little bit better on the X360.

Before anyone kills me, I already paid in advance for the PS3 version.

From what i can tell 360 runs at a really smooth framerate.. don't know how it could run any better.

Been playing for about 2 hours now.

To those who've compared the graphics of the 360 and PS3 versions of GTA V, have you seen a PS3 footage? I can't find one.

We need more keen eye players to tell the difference at this point. Because as soon as one person says the ps3 is smoother, a x360 player comes and replies to there study. Interesting

Actually I have both versions , I did say the game will be leaked earlier here in KSA (I got it on the 11th of September) ;

* PS3 runs Smoother

* PS3 runs at 30-35 FPS

* Xbox 360 have slightly better anti-aliasing

* Xbox 360 have less pop ups

* Xbox 360 have slightly better line draw for distance

* Xbox 360 have a more colorful environment (little noticeable)(better textures)

* Xbox 360 runs at 30-33 FPS

After all the game runs great on both systems , but if you love slightly smoother gameplay get the PS3 version , if you love slightly better visuals get the Xbox 360 version

Sounds about right, all i'm saying is the FPS is simply amazing compared to any other game you got at the moment.

Can't comment on the differences.

Well it doesn't look like there is any difference on both consoles really. Slight difference yes, but smoother framerate seems strong with the PS3 :beerhat:

It's good to see the 360 being used to it's full potential too! Also, they both run 30 fps with no flaw. AMAZING! That is why even as a PS3 player, I envy the Unified RAM the xbox uses.

We can both play without once again flaming each other's companies.

brilliant reply. Just two questions, does the PS3 still have AA anyway even if its slighlty less noticable. And two, when you say smoother on PS3 do you mean vsync and general controller feel or do you mean fps wise as you said both have averages of 30fps+

I can tell you.. as a xbox user the controls are really smooth and responsive, i wouldn't worry so much, i think V controls alot better than any xbox game i played so far..
