I put "havent seen enough to have an opinion" but its not really because I havent SEEN it, its because I havent PLAYED it myself.

You cant really tell how the cars handle until you've felt it for yourself. Its very hard to tell just by looking how they are going to feel....

Too early to say for me, in fact, I'd be happy if just someone who's tried it or analyzed it properly could just give me a description of what seems controversial about it. Is the handling unrealistically responsive, what?

It's hard to tell just off seeing leaked videos. This poll should be done 1 week after release!

It was easy to tell after the 12 minute video i saw. All about the right things to pay attention to. If I can tell that saints row driving is sh*t just by looking at it (I have played it though) then this was not only reassuring after close inspection but a no brainer due to certain characteristics with the aspects of driving that I personally enjoy.

I will have to play myself to form an opinion. And by playing I dont mean the first 2 hours... I mean driving almost every type of car with and without customization.

I'll wait till I actually play to judge the driving, and I advise everyone else to do the same

For f*cks sake, play the game for a few days and you will get used to the new driving. Really who gives a sh*t?

I did actually love the driving in IV, loved everything about it, first I though it was sad that they changed it but then I realised that I have one choice, either I bitch and moan about it for the rest of my life, or I give it a chance and just let it grow on me. It's not the end of the world you know..

It's not as arcady as lets say Saint's row or Just cause 2 (those games had terrible driving but that didn't make the game's sh*t, that alot of other reasons) If you look carefully you see that it's not as much arcade driving as you think.

I haven't played the game yet, but Im not worried about this.

I agree with

Savagemessiah
People will get used to it. It takes time to get used to the new controls. I remember I didnt fall in love with IV's driving mechanics right away either.

I'm wondering one thing:

Everyone who like new GTA V handling, do they like Midnight Club LA handling too? If yes.. I'm really worried.

Because I just played Midnight Club LA, and the handling was... very bad.

And if we have almost MNCLA style handling in GTA V, I'm not very happy.

So far I like GTA III - GTA IV handlings.

imo it looks the same, certain cars have just been tweaked to be easier to control, which people will appreciate after a while.

Remember how good of a job they did revamping the driving in TBOGT? That was a "meet in the middle" type of deal. The driving was great in TBOGT.

I have the game, the car handling is the worst you can imagine, trust me, it has been the only disappointing thing in the game.

The best of this issue is how you can see how there are people head closed.

While we're complaining, yes, complaining about the new driving physics, those who liked it, do not have arguments to give base to their opinion, they simply comes and tells us to f*ck off.

Yeah... They are very mature people who really deserve this sh*tty driving physics.

Once I have the game in my hands and drive for a good amount of time, perhaps an hour then I'll decide if I like/dislike the new handling.

This. Can you please wait till the 17th when just about everybody will have had it, and not just the ~109 that currently have the game? :sui:

Okay everyone worried about the new driving physics, don't. The mechanics feel quite familiar to GTA IV but every car has been tweaked to make them feel unique. Sports cars stick to the road a lot more so you can control them easier at higher speeds. It takes a while getting used to but you will appreciate the changes once you play the game.

I have played the game and I was initially worried about the driving as I thought GTA IV's was great. However now I have played GTA V, I think the physics have improved. The only downfall to the game and this is due to the size is the textures lack in areas, especially on mountains and hills.

Pure car handling okay playing the game yourself might change your opinion, but this is clearly bad. Especially when you look at how he drives up to the Galileo Observatory.http://www.youtube.c...er_embedded#t=2
