Of course they do...But in this case what good will it do.  Rockstar will not change the game so it is a WASTED MOTION.

I can see Rockstar making numerous updates to vehicles, among other things, in the days preceding GTA Online.

To the extent that anyone would care about the game at all, god forbid that they care about driving in a game called "Grand theft Auto".

I've been playing V for a few hours now, and the driving physics are awesome; so much better than IV's.

Been playing for 5hrs and so far i f*cking love the driving, i had a bit of trouble at the begining as GTAV doesnt seem to work well on my 50in plasma. Switched to a monitor and been plain sailing since then.

Saying that ive been indifferent for all gta driving, i just f*cking got on with it.

Edit, before anyone mouths off saying 'if its so good why arent you playing', im on here because i got kicked off the monitor and i got like 15mins before i gotta go pick my sister up from school.

Oh my god, what they have done?

Not this, not this...

There was ONE thing they had to UPDATE, not RUIN, and they failed?!

Hope either they'll fix it or i'll like it when i try it!

But i loved IV car hadling an i f*cking hate all the others sandboxes driving because of how poor the drive is...

You should give Mafia II a try, even better then GTA IV in my opinion in terms of driving, and they even cared enough to include an simulation and arcade setting for handling, which is what R* should have done as well.

Bought it last night. Played it stoned and still thought the driving was terrible. Played it sober this morning and Midnight Club is the perfect description for driving in this game. Waited 5 years, its a huge dissapointment imo.

Thankfully this game is awesome enough to distract me from the terrible handling. Did R* execs think 'if Saint's Row and Sleeping Dogs can get away with it so should we'?

Like that other thread said, you go from the rest of the game being as realistic as it can be to this terrible unrealistic driving on rails like LA Noire.

This re-ignites my desire for the PC version, so I can mod the damn thing to IV style handling if anything.

A related side note: did anyone notice on the saving Jimmy from boat on the truck mission that when the truck turned corners the trailer leaned the wrong way?

When it turned hard the trailer leaned IN to the turn rather than away as the act of it's weight would exert...really odd

After having played 15 hours straight, I can honestly say; YESSSSS, the driving is more arcadey, the cars feel way too grippy and turn too sharp. But not in a way I can't get used to. The thing that f*cks me up the most though is the fact that we can't drift for sh*t. Not even with the slippery car cheat on.

I

t's been made so easy for lilttle kids to play ,even though they're not supposed to.

Even when in a mission where you have to walk a certain way or path, you sometimes only have to push forward on the sticks and the character moves itself in the right direction by turning it self. It feels as if someone is holding your hand the whole time your playing the game.

Confirmed MCLA physics 100%, i just witnessed a video of GTA V where a SUV can turn faster then a smart car, grats whiner who can't drive in IV for ruining the game.

The damage to the cars is simply too hard to damage, I do not care if I run into things eny more, because there will be no damage

, so I think it is very boring to drive now, this is sad, because i like it in gta 4 :(

Better than copying and pasting handling from MCLA surely?

Tbh, I don't like the driving in this (well, for races only). I think I'm still used to GTA IV so doing that f*cking race against Wei Shen or whatever he's f*cking called is impossible atm. Retard AI also gets in the way too often.

all that needed to change after IV was just adding a little bit of acceleration. Now it handles like an arcade game. Thanks a lot to whoever complained about IV's driving.

The driving mechanics are great as far as I'm concerned. I love it.  I don't want and I doubt that Rockstar will change anything.

If GTAIV is anything to go off of a few upset fans are not going to incite a change. I bitched a lot about the mechanics in GTA4. I hoped a patch would come. Guess what? It never did.

Vehicle damage maybe, Vehicle handing no...The driving and everything is fine.  Some of you just refuse to accept it for what it is and its meant to be fun. They pretty much captured that and made driving fun and enjoyable.

I don't understand the logic of people that complain about other people complaining about the game. Is it really so hard to NOT click on the thread, and reply? Is is really that hard?

"OMG, someone doesn't like something about my favorite game, I better waste my time and reply something completely irrelevant and nonsensical."

Nice logic there."You don't like the game? Then don't play it."

Hmm..okay. Well, you don't like the thread? Then don't reply.
