Game pre-order missing?

I've been having problems regarding payment for my collectors edition so i've been contacting Game via webchat today and the order hadn't been cancelled and I provided them with a new card and someone phoned up to confirm and about 30 minutes ago, my order has vanished from my account?!

 

 

Has this happened to anyone else?

Get in touch with them again may have had problems with your other payment, they took my payment today and status on the website has updated.

Yeah but if it was cancelled it would say? But it seems to be unlisted altogether

I'd guess it would say but if it's disapeared then my guess is they have cancelled it, that's why I said get in touch with them about it they will be able to give you more info regarding the problem :)

GAME have no direct contact number. You can't get through to a human, it's all automated. Looks like i'm screwed...

Looking on twitter I sent GAME a tweet and someone replied (not game) and same has happened to them and to others aswell!

This has happened to me too.

 

2 hours ago I checked and it was there but showing as unshipped. Checking the orders page on my account now and it's nowhere to be seen!

 

It better not have been cancelled; my card details haven't changed since I paid the £20 deposit via it months ago. If they have just randomly cancelled it I'll be pissed, as the CE isn't available anywhere else now  :v:

I don't think it's cancelled because I have orders under my account which have been cancelled, only thing which changes is the status to cancelled (ofc) and you get an email but I have neither, it's just vanished, completely unlisted under my account.

 

 

I'm actually getting a little pee'd off because they have no system in place so you can contact a HUMAN incase theres problems with an order.

Just checked and yep, it's disappeared.

 

Hopefully this is just all part of the procedure, since they've not emailed me about it or anything.

Happened to me as well, checked My Collectors edition order this morning and said unshipped, check it about 3 hours ago and it has vanished. contacted the Webchat with my Order number and they said is was still in there system and might not be showing for me as there processing it. she said if it wasn't there by this time tomorrow to contact them again.

Live chat is to contact a human, but only during working hours (9-5).

 

The last time I emailed them I got a reply 4 days later =/

 

Kind of glad it's not just me having this issue then... might mean it's a system error rather than orders being cancelled, and our orders will be shipped as expected!

 

Edit: ^ that sounds encouraging at least!

 

Hopefully that'll be the case, then :)

It seems that we're all getting the CE, right?

 

I'm assuming they're processing the CE's right now, hence us 4 all having the same problem. Strangely enough, I'm calmer now - at least something's happening with my order.

As said above, this could be apart of the processing order so it goes through their systems?

It's just odd that the order information would completely disappear from the website instead of just being left as unshipped/changed to shipped.

 

On another note; my order actually said £20 paid and a £99.99 saving - total paid £40. It changed to that last week, shortly before I got an email explaining it was a mistake and that I'd only be charged the full RRP of £119.99.

 

Game need to buck their ideas up with regards to their website for sure...

I hope it doesn't mean they've also been given less CE copies than they originally thought, so are cancelling orders because of it :/

 

I've had mine on order since 25/07.

My order price had changed when I got an email on the 7th saying they was in the process of processing my order, from £99.99 + £20 total £119.99 (minus discount £5 saving £114.99) to £139.99 (minus £5 discount saving)

 

 



 

I've had mine on order since 25/07.

 

 

Well I ordered mine on the day it was announced and still vanished so I don't think so.

glad i'm not the only one. I'm guessing as there are a lot of people with missing pre orders they are processing it.

We all seem to have the collectors edition on order too  :blink:

 

Could either mean they're just updating the status of them and haven't finished doing so yet (probably due to it ticking over 5pm and going home instead).

 

Or we're all doomed and won't get what we ordered.

I wouldn't worry, especially considering a lot of people are having the same issues. The large amount of order disappearances suggests that is meant to happen. It's too much of a coincidence for it not to be.

I also spoke to someone on Webchat - it was yesterday to change my payment details, and the chap confirmed "We will ship your game in time for release".

I would have thought they had taken payments by now, but not to worry. It WILL happen tommorow.

Nope. Only emails i've had was regarding early processing which everyone got and I got this one on the 6th (thought it was the 7th but apparently not)
