For all of the Ladies (and Gentlemen, but mainly for the Ladies) What are your thoughts of a Female protagonist. Personally I think it would be a nice change. even if it was a small dlc I think that having a Female Protagonist would greatly expand the target audience.

You can do that in GTA:O

I don't know why, but I tend to find them rather annoying when they're the lead character/protaganist on tv shows, so I don't know if I'd be too down with it. Don't get me wrong, I'd still play it, but might be annoyed with her over-the-top awesome-badassness that shows always tend to give to them.

I'd rather have them as a DLC character. Not main installment.

GTA: Online is for that very purpose. It's about expanding the franchise to all walks of life.

Feminism and liberalism...they don't go well with GTA. Once they get female protagonists they'll be pushing for the removal of guns and a stronger government.

I actually just wrote about this in the other thread- as a woman, I don't want to play a video game in the role of a female protagonist. I think most female gamers feel the same; they prefer to play as males. Anyway, it wouldn't be much fun to play GTA as a lady, I mean, c'mon...

Yes, I would. If she was a proper character and not added because of the feminazis, then yes, I would.

This is more or less what I meant, if they made a good story to include a female character, why not, is it the idea of change you do not like?

Yes, while we are at it a Hispanic or Latino protagonist would be great too. Will it happen. No! But, I can dream right. You figured, you would get a Hispanic character cause it is set in fictional Los Angeles. But, whatever.

I wouldn't mind for a female protagonist, I have played alot of games with females as leads, in criminal words.

What do I mind about, is feminists crying about it everytime a game is released without a female protagonist. They are insane lol.

No given that the criminal underworld tends to still be extremely sexist; you can pretend all you want but our status quo still makes it unbelievable.

I usually choose the male character if there's a choice but I don't have a problem playing as female protagonists In games.

In GTA however, I don't know - I just don't think it would work for me. Also I'm struggling to recall any tough female criminal characters from GTA that were actually likeable.
