Or will you just rip open the box and shove the disc in?

For me as a SE buyer I'll have a leisurely read through the booklet and the artwork first, maybe study the blueprint map a little.

I love dragging out the excitement when I know I could just play it whenever I want.

You?

I myself am also a proud buyer of the SE, I always check out the booklets and whatnot first, I also grab all my codes out and lay them out next to me ready to enter to unlock stuff in my game.

Then I play the game itself.

Depends on how big it is.. If it's not done by the time the 8gb install is through then it's gonna be toilet bowl reading material.

San andreas had a pretty thick booklet.. but that was 2004.

it seems a no brainer to read it while you wait for it to install.. unless you're illiterate and hate reading or have better things to do while your game installs.

Install will be 20 minutes with all the online traffic. I'll read up and check out the Special Edition crap I paid too much for. LOL.

The booklet would come with all editions of the game, not just SE... so I'm not sure why you bothered mentioning this.

I won't bother with the booklet but I'll roll out the blueprint map and study it while the game installs. As soon as the game's ready, I'm dropping everything out my hands to play it and if anyone calls - I'm dead

The install is going to take some time, so I will read the booklet and study the map a little more thoroughly while I wait.

Yerp, gonna put the game to install, and unless there's anything interesting happening during the install, I'll settle down on the bog for 20 mins, have a browse and order a pizza. Poifict.

Pop the ol disk in, then look closely at the map and read the booklet while the install happens. Maybe look like a tourist and look at the map draped over my steering wheel on my hour ride home after i get the game. lol

I always read everything first. Its just been a habit of mine with any game I get.

And since I purchased the guide for the first time I may also read some of that too. (Obviously skipping mission sections)

This right here. But, like the OP, I too like to drag it out. I did the same thing with Halo 4, and that game didn't even require an install (for single player, which is my main thing).

Depends on how big it is..

...

OT: I'll just play the game without pressing start to see the ingame map or seeing the blueprint map.

I will check out all the goodies while the game installs. But once it finishes, I will jump right in.

I'll probably tease myself with it a little bit. I'll start the install and then flip through the manual. If I cave, I'll probably start reading the strategy guide while it downloads. Maybe check out some weapons/cars in the guide while I force myself to wait.

I can't believe tomorrow is Wednesday, and then it's only five days until I wake up and prep for the midnight release.
