to anyone that knows... i just had my tonsils taken out.. and im having lots of flem.. 

 

it also feels like there is something in the back of my throat... 

 

 

anyone know what it is? or how to get rid of it?

It's inflamation. It'll go away. Ask your doctor if you can take an anti-inflamatory.

 

And I think the more pressing issue is - you're asking for medical advice here. Not smart. You're lucky I responded before some other git told you to poke it with a razor or something.

 

Now go eat your icecream like a big boy, and you'll be salivating like normal in a week or so. ;)

You need a partner for this.

 

Get a straw, and ask your partner to gently ease the straw deep into your thoat, until you feel its touching the flem. Then once your satisfied, your partner uses the straw to suck the flem out of your throat. Problem solved.

 

If they think it's a bit of a disgusting idea, just tell them to imagine its a warm, thick milkshake.

We did the same thing for a bunch of small tonsilloliths that got stuck in a nook behind my tongue. I swear, there must have been twenty packed in each corner. It really works, OP! :)
