I would rather have a medium sized map and be able to have a fully functional environment, instead of a large map that is mostly countryside that is only used for passing through. Do u hope that Los Santos will be more interactive than Liberty City?

I don't care how big/small the city is. The bigger the countryside the better

I'd love a huge map, with a city the same size as Liberty City. The more countryside, the better. It was perfect in San Andreas.

Use this thread if you want to discuss map size: http://gtaforums.com...os-santos-size/

EDIT: It seems like the thread is only for Los Santos size. :/

your entitled to an opinion and your comment is fine but you are probably 5 in a million of people who want what your saying

rockstar have pushed the current consoles to their limit packing it with so much stuff you couldn't believe a huge world and everything we loved in all their games just gona be epic

I absolutely agree with you. Country is fun, too. But I think urban/suburban Los Santos is important, since real life L.A. doesn't even consist of that much "rural/country" area anyways. I want a lot of scenery, don't get me wrong. But, again, I'd like the urban/suburban area of the map to be at least the size of the entire Liberty City (GTA IV), if not bigger.

Only thing I disagree with you on is comprising map size. I don't want a smaller map, I just want more of the map to consist of urban/suburban area.

What?

How do you know V's map isn't interactive or fully functional? It will be a hundred times better than IV.

I don't understand people. Everyone was complaining about IV having no countryside so Rockstar probably took it on board and included it in V and now people don't want it. What the f*ck?

I have no problems with the map size or city vs countryside. Just accept it for what it is and stop worrying about it.

The GTA V map IS a large fully-functional rich environment regardless of whether it's urban or country areas.

Go read the Aaron Garbut interview.
