I agree with you OP. Respect+
There's nothing wrong with being excited for the game of course but a lot of people are settings their expectations too high. They'll be thinking that loads of features will be included but will in fact not be in the game. I bet you on 17th September this forum will be full of people complaining about all sorts of stuff that isn't in the game or isn't the way they expected it to be. Rockstar can't make the game perfect for everyone.
I am excited for the game but I'm being reasonable about my expectations. I'm not thinking "Oh I hope this is in!" but I'm just reading what Rockstar has confirmed and that's getting me excited. If there's something they haven't mentioned then it'll be a surprised but I also won't be disappointed (unless of course they remove a feature they already spoke about).
People just need to try not over hype the game or set their expectations too high. This is what's gonna hurt the game most. People wanting all sorts of crazy sh*t and realising it's not in the game.
Just enjoy the game for what it is. It's a huge step up from previous Rockstar titles. GTA V will be an amazing game.
