getting extreme hype will kill the game for you all.

u expect too much from this game. many things u imagined is not in-game

R* didnt release too much info about GTAV this make theirs fans imagine too much.

don't be disappointed when u play the game and it was different than you thought it will be.

i am warning you, calm down and dont get ultra hype.

remember GTA4 before and after u played it. it could happen again.

This game will be amazing and I for one personally won't be disappointed at all SP or GTAONLINE. They added things I wanted and alot more!

I agree, my hype is not that high anyway, I guess I got a little bored and too much info but I know I'll get more excited again once I play it.
I've been through many game hypes and understand this, so long as the cars still feel fun and I can be good at shooting, that's the main things that can dissapoint me otherwise it's all good.

I never been so hyped for a R* game in my life. With that said, R* could never disappoint me.

I agree with you OP. Respect+

There's nothing wrong with being excited for the game of course but a lot of people are settings their expectations too high. They'll be thinking that loads of features will be included but will in fact not be in the game. I bet you on 17th September this forum will be full of people complaining about all sorts of stuff that isn't in the game or isn't the way they expected it to be. Rockstar can't make the game perfect for everyone.

I am excited for the game but I'm being reasonable about my expectations. I'm not thinking "Oh I hope this is in!" but I'm just reading what Rockstar has confirmed and that's getting me excited. If there's something they haven't mentioned then it'll be a surprised but I also won't be disappointed (unless of course they remove a feature they already spoke about).

People just need to try not over hype the game or set their expectations too high. This is what's gonna hurt the game most. People wanting all sorts of crazy sh*t and realising it's not in the game.

Just enjoy the game for what it is. It's a huge step up from previous Rockstar titles. GTA V will be an amazing game.

Considering the game has been in development for 5 years, I can imagine the hype. R★ are considered to me to be one of the developers that I actually care about their games. If anything I'm glad the game was delayed. If It wasn't delayed then we would've gotten half of a game.

this could be GTA IV with new vehicles and weapons and I'd be pretty damn excited. Though I'd obviously not be willing to pay as much. I've had a lot of free roam imagination fueled fun with both SA and IV and I'm sure it'll be the same with V. And I got IV 2 years after release (waiting for PS3 price drop) and by then a lot of people had already been saying it sucked and stuff. It didn't.

I'm not hyped up on what I haven't seen or predicting. I'm hyped up on what they've release so far such as customizations since we never had that with cars and guns before, and the houses and garages. Everything that I've seen so far is good enough for me. And you know Rockstar isn't going to release ALL of the extra stuff.

I almost NEVER put my expectations high for a game, but something about GTA V is different. It just has that feel of a classic to it. Yea the info I've read has played into the hype, but this is mostly a gut feeling. I really believe this game will be great.

This game imo earned the hype.
Five years? The last time we had a gta game we have seen games like Assassin Creed milk out, COD being the same garbage and Resident Evil become a joke.

The information we have gotten has raised my excitement level and in 10 days we get to play it! Am I a R* fanboy? Nope, but I have faith in them!

Considering they added more than what I expected I'm sure the game won't be a let down for me.

Ya i agree with you OP, was thinking same thing earlier.

I am hyped and do believe it will meet expectations. Theirs a lot of content and having the best of all Rockstar in one game sounds pretty sick.

The customizations are a major big help. Also the fact that GTA online looks amazing and that we get multiple ending for single player continues to make it hype worthy.

Not a single GTA title was ever disappointing. It's astrophysically impossible. Even it's not the AAAA-game we all know it's going to be, it'll be f*cking A+, which is still a f*ckton better than 99% of the games released today.
