I said her there is a very special game I want, i am waiting for it (lie) almost 5 years, and the time is comming, even I showed her all trailers, GTA SA and IV. Then I said her this game is so special... can you buy it for me? It is so special that I will remember you forever.
She will pay half...

Wife will be a little upset that I spent the money on the game, but she'll be glad that I won't be playing Red Dead anymore (been playing for 2 years, basically only other game I have). I'm deciding if I should tell her that I just charged the game or if I should tell her my crew friend's who I've been playing RDR with for 2 years chipped in and bought it for me. I do like lying.

No broad for me. No school or job either.
Yeah some high and mighty folk may think I'm a loser but hey, V is almost out and I have next to no personal or professional commitments. I gotta tell ya, I'm one happy fella.

I heard that. My Wife is a gamer, and she doesn't like GTA V right now because every moment I am not doing anything I am on this forum reading about the game. In any case she will be with me the night of the release. She doesn't have anything aganst the game, and she will probably play it just as much as me if not more. She just don't get gunho about it like I do. Haha.

Hard to know until I finally start gaming it, but at least to this point she says she's fine. I warned her well ahead of time of what mid-Sept to probably Halloween would be like (I live with her), she laughs and just says don't worry about it. Laid back chicks ftw
She also works at a hospital, so I'm hoping for lots of evening shifts around that time. But so far so good anyway. I also told her she has to go out and have a girls' night on the 17th, plus that whole first weekend after release. She already put it in her phone calendar.
EDIT: She's also told me several times she can't wait for release, so she can stop listening to me talk about how awesome its going to be haha. I believe it..

Nope, wen we moved in together we both had 50+inch HD TV's and each our own 360's. So now we have both hooked up for online gaming and she will end up with her own copy as it is.
Our plan is to play the game in different ways, but together.
She a little irritated cuz she got college courses and I don't, but I promised to not advance in gameplay while she is not able to play.

Well both me and my boyfriend are huge gamers and are both waiting for this game. We'll ignore each other for a while, both playing it on our own systems. No feelings hurt.
Even if I wasn't a huge gamer, I wouldn't get mad at my boyfriend for ignoring me for a bit for something he loves to do. We each have our own hobbies and require some alone time.

Am I the only one who actually would be with my baby girl instead of playing GTA V over nights? I love GTA games and R* games, but I think I will stick with my darling.

^^^^ This. Women....they're gorgeous and all, but such a nuisance to live with!! All those periods and having to watch TOWIE? No thanks If I had one I'd never put her before the game though.
As for this Nick guy...Surely people aren't taking him seriously? He's probably a weedy 14 year old with zits and a micropenis. No self respecting father would just accept their daughter being smacked around.

My girl says she is excited and will try to start a female character in GTAO.
BUUUUT.. She lets out an annoyed sigh every time I remind her the amount of remaining days. I have said "10 days left" 50 times today already..
Deep down she knows how crazy important this is to me, and is probably a little jealous how much happiness it can bring me..

Nah. Finna play it with my boyfriend. If you're in a relationship with someone, they should respect you, man. They shouldn't freak out over a game.

I have a gamer girl as well. Life is better when you date pretty girls are into the same thing as you. Video games. She's a huge GTA fan she almost got 100% in gta4 and she's hot and we work out 4 times a week. I tried dating non gamer girls it just doesnt work when you been playing games your whole life

If you have a healthy relationship, you should be able to balance time between her and the game. If she's pissed off at you for "knowing" that you will completely ignore her for the game, that's not a good sign. Currently single now, but in the past, I've never allowed games to take away attention from my girl. Same thing goes for friendships, family, work, school, and hobbies.
GTA V is not a game.
Same with my job. I will pretend sick.

My fiance doesn't care, she bought me GTA 4 on release, and went to the midnight release for it as well. She just hopes that GTA V doesn't defer me from going to her grandmothers birthday party the following weekend.. I'll go, grab some free food, and back to the grind.. lol
