Hey, guys, if any of you don't know, 'Hey Arnold' is an animated TV series, which were popular in... I think... 1990s.
So, I know, it's kind of weird, but I always wanted to make this builbing (where Arnold lives with his grandpa) and
put it into GTA. So, finally, I took some time to create it. Looks pretty good, even
better then the original, what do you think of it?

Here are the screens:

Here's also a video:

About the release of this mod:

I'm planning to make also a Vice City version of this building, which would include interior: rooms, furniture and
all that stuff (gta 3 version would not include an interior).
As soon as I finish all that - you'll be able to download. What you think?

This is actually pretty good. I would suggest that you change the textures and make them look "dirtier", to fit GTA 3's atmosphere. Pops out way too much in GTA III's Liberty City.

That's quite impressive: You've managed to recreate the original cartoon building and keep it in GTA's style so it won't clash like IV cars on III.

But yeah, Death2Drugs has a good pointing on making it dirtier. Still, nice going!

Yes, Hey Arnold was a popular Nick show from 1997-2004. Its one of my all-time favorite shows from my childhood. Awesome work!!!!!

Very well done. It's unique, I like it. But perhaps you should put it on a more fitting part of the city? Maybe in St. Marks?

Thank you for the comments.

I've already tried to put this building in different places, but this one is better, because it was the only flat spare ground space without buildings on Portland.

I've experemented with the textures and here what I got:

First option - to make old textures darker:

Second option - new wall texture:

I think the second texture better fits the GTA 3 atmosphere, but now it don't look like the original building from the cartoon. Anyways, what you think?

It looks great. Perhaps you could release 3 separate versions.

Perhaps you could release 3 separate versions.

I probably do it this way: Building with bright red wall texture will be for Vice City, because it fits VC's atmosphere and the building with dark red wall texture will be for GTA 3 to resemble the original buildings in GTA3.

By the way, here is update on the interior:

Hallway and stairs to the 2nd floor:

This will be bathroom:

Textures are taken partially from Mafia, partially from GTA, partially from free texture sites.

And final version of building for GTA 3:

UPDATE. Finally, I've finished the building, here are screens and video:

Added (in comparison with GTA 3 version):
1. Interior + furniture.
2. New backyard.
3. Removed fire escapes (they don't fit Vice City's atmosphere, besides you can get to the roof from inside the building).

I've got several small things to fix in that building and then the mod will be released.
