I think so. V is going to be the greatest game ever made. Before V, SA was the greatest game.

San Andreas will always live on. With every new GTA game it will fade just a bit but at the same time new players will discover the classic game and it's legend will continue.

I think what the OP means is, "Will Rockstar ever do a future generation game in San Andreas / Los Santos, or is it 'San Andreas, It's Over'?"

The lure is very strong of being able to spend many months away from Edinburgh, in order to "research and photograph" Los Angeles for future GTAs. So I have a feeling that somehow, Rockstar will justify a future GTA in San Andreas. colgate.gif

No your wrong on that part, they already went LA, to do research for V dude.

nope, cause V will always need a reminder of where it used to be (graphically and game physics like)

San Andreas is immortal. I still haven't 100% it yet, but I plan to do so before GTA V is released into the wild.

I'm playing through San Andreas right now in preparation for V so nah it aint dead. I enjoy it more than GTA 4. Only thing that saved 4 was the physics and graphics. Other than that San Andreas was better.

good question. i'll say NO, u will see alot of gamers prefer that city and even prefer GTA:SA because it have more activity than yoga and repetitive heist sequence. there will never be something like san andreas.

I can't believe you summed up GTA V as just being Yoga and repetitive heist sequences. lol.gif

Words fail to describe my reaction to that statement. confused.gif

I don't think so. People will still play San Andreas but I do think there will certainly be less people playing it now V is about to come out. I only stopped playing San Andreas a few months ago because my old PS3 died so I can't play PS2 games anymore. I hate playing games on PC so thats it for me.

Dead? I dunno about other people but it certainly wont be dead for me. SA is a classic. I will go back and compare the two just to mess around and see how far we've come.

Snap - it beggars belief.

SA will be dead to allow but a few hardcores. The same I feel will go for GTA IV.

The story, the characters, the crazy things you could do. The memories. All of them remain with San Andreas. Nothing can replace San Andreas.

More like IV is dead, SA is still there to all the PC users. I doubt people will leave their SAMP communities, not until V:MP is out anyway.

I never get what so great about San Andreas? The story is quite sh*t, characters are shallow and the whole overdone hood vibe didn't do nothing for me either..

Now Vice City.. that was a game, the music, the story (Although ripped off Scarface and similar movies) and the whole miami vibe..

SA has been dead for me since i completed it once or twice and got bored of dicking around in freeroam.

Nope, there will still fundamentalism GTA SA fanboys spreading their belief GTA SA is the best game ever and GTA V is sh*tty game for a sh*tty reasons

This.

SA fanboys get on my nerves, in all honesty.
To me, it's been dead since I finished it for the second time. I think I even played Liberty City Stories more than SA. I can easily live without ever looking back to it!

But yeah, it depends on what you personally enjoy, etc. For some, III, VC and LCS are already dead, for example, but I still am able to play and enjoy them as much as I do with IV.

And I hate SA haters which you cleary are LCS is my sh*t but you can't say that SA wasn't fun even if you don't like the characters gang aspect or CJ or the storyline but you can't say that the gameplay wasn't fun when we know it was and to SA haters everybody that like SA is a fanboy

I don't think current phones can Handel San Andrea

Ofc they can handle SA. Vice city and III works excellent. SA had few more graphics features, that probably gonna be ripped (silly shadows, some filters, AA) but besides that it's almost the same thing. It will take more memory space to install it. Today's phones have 2GB RAM and multi-core CPU and GPU come on! I've played SA on 256MB RAM and single core CPU computer back in 2005 and it worked perfect.

Not at all. Even if V ends up being the better game it'll still be quite actively played. Just like how people still play III, and Vice City to this day. Everyone has their preferences.

yeh people who live in Africa and china will probably still play it.

no joke I watched a video the other day and it was a Chinese kid unboxing gta 3 and he had never heard or played a gta game until now so yeh where playing gta 5 and he thinks gta 3 is the next big thing hahahahah hilarious

yup. san andreas wouldnt be any problem for my phone. i think gta iv could easily work if CONVERTED properly, NOT emulated. but todays phones can handle pretty nice graphics and large enviroments.

However, you cannot compare a phone with a computer because they are so different. quad core phone? sure. but it doesnt mean its like a quad core pc since its only running on a small 2-3 thousand mah battery.
