What do you think about the chemical attacks on Syria. Do you think the Us should take action? If the US does take action and probably will, it could very well start World War 3 as we know it. China, Russia and Iran team up while the US, UK and lots of other countries already "talked and discussed" about possible sides for world war three if it happens. What's your thoughts? Also, here is a link for your interest.

I honestly can't see the Russians or Chinese declaring war on the USA over Syria. I could see a new series of proxy wars similar to Vietnam/Laos/Cambodia, however.

Regardless, the West should stay the f*ck out of the Middle East.

I heard it started on 9/11. IMO legalize marijuana it has so many uses its crazy that we are keeping it illegal. The world needs to progress, stop pissing and sh*tting in clean water, helping people in need and giving back to wildlife. I know its a big task but everyone needs to do their part.

Stop driving vehicles. Now, now don't flame me "well how am i going to get anywhere?" Use a bicycle. More bikes could travel in the same amount of time than cars could. Not to mention cars kill people and the obvious pollute.

This is sort of ridiculous. Russia does have a slight national interest in Syria but they are not going to go to war against the US if we launch missle strikes. The US has a clear national interest in eliminating Hezbollah and Iranian influence by knocking out the Syrian government and replacing it with a US friendly one. In short, Russia will be pissed but they aren't going to go to war with us. f*ck them if you ask me, since they didn't extradite Snowden they can stick it.

I'm not sure this is debate worthy.

Syria is not strategic.
or at least not anywhere near strategic enough for any of the major world powers to be dragged into nuclear war over.

.....what?

Another World War isn't a plausible result of the situation in Syria. Regardless of what route is taken it's important that the US makes it very clear that chemical weapons were used by the regime, if that's clear to everyone, no one will intervene on their behave. No one goes to war to defend the use of chemical weapons.

My post made sense. Don't know why you say "...what" like I am a complete fool. I did not say WWIII is happening because of chemical warfare anywhere in my post.

Meh. I think it's going to be a possibility somewhere down the line for sure, but it's pretty unlikely. If it escalates any further I'll probably just leave the country and move somewhere nice and neutral, for whatever good it'll do me if nukes start flying.

It's because you were spouting off about unrelated bollocks. The legalisation of marijuana has no place in a topic about Syria, nor do bicycles.

I can't see World War Three happening because of Syria; Russia and China would in all likelihood just take the diplomatic route rather than going straight to a course of action that would benefit nobody. Does anybody really think that Russia are going to risk their population because the USA attacks a sort-of ally that is pretty strategically unimportant? As for a proxy war, maybe but I'm not really convinced that the situation meets the definition of a proxy war between the major powers.

I strongly do not believe that World War 3 would happen just because the Russians and Chinese would "feel some type of way"
that America would send tomahawks to cripple Syria defense. All be it, both the Russian and America government has been a little
tense lately (since the Snowden incident), however that would never prompt them to declare war on anyone.

Beside the UN has been strengthening over the years to prevent an all out blitz from happen so....no WW3
