Screen Resolution Problem [ Zooming ]
Posted 26 August 2013 - 10:58 AM
My GTA San Andreas window's screen resolution just gets zoomed out as I open it. I just tried alt-enter and nothing happened, in-game display settings don't help as well. It just keeps zooming out the display as I open the game. I've been on Windows 7 starter since 3 years and it's working fine. When I set the resolution back to 1440 x 900 as the game is opened, it returns back 800 x 600 and nothing changed. That happened 2 days ago.
The Windows 7 Starter and Home Basic editions do not have Aero Transparency included in them to edit it.
Any help please? Thanks for reading.

Your symptom appears to be Original Version related (DVD v1), which is fixed along with a lot of other bugs by the Official Patch 1.01. This patch isn't
necessary for the DVD (v2) or STEAM download (v3) games.
When you say 'running fine' do you mean the Game or the Windows OS?
Has the resolution just changed suddenly?
If the had played before and you have made a successful save, try deleting the gta_sa.set file.
Your game doesn't have any mods?
Your didn't 'crack' the game to play without the DVD (on a DVD installed game)?
When you installed the game did you use ADMIN account?
Are you playing with Admin privileges?
Have you tried running in XP mode?
