Although Bond's 50th anniversary was months ago I feel that the series still deserves some attention, so with this, I decided to create this topic asking YOU what Bond film is your favourite.
So, what is it?
Mine is probably... hhhmmm. I like the Connery films a lot, but also like OHMSS, but I have to go with Goldfinger, Casino Royale 2006 OR Live & Let Die. I'm sorry, it's too hard to choose.

Casino Royale 2006

Liked the way how they changed the image of bond.. from doll face to real spy..
anyway after that the rest just went downhill, like Bourne movie want to be..

Tell me about it. QoS was terrible and I firmly believe that the writers' strike is to blame. Skyfall was a return to form though.

I just recently bought the entire Bond collection on dvd (including Never Say Never Again).

I would say my personal favorites (if I remember which is which lol), are The Spy Who Loved Me (is that the one with the Lotus?), The Living Daylights, Casino Royale, I actually loved Quantum of Solace, and of course Skyfall.

Gawd.... My favorite is.... One of those lol.gif Probably one of the Daniel Craig ones, can't decide

Oh and Connery is the best Bond imo, followed by Brosnan, Craig, Dalton, Lazenby and Moore (never really liked Moore as Bond)

Gonna have to go with Ben Affleck.

But no, seriously, Connery. Connery>Brosnan>Lazenby>Moore>Craig>Dalton, but Craig's better in some ways that don't really compare with the rest.

Edit, ah f*ck, perhaps I should read the topic next time, hey?

Personal fave will always be Golden Eye. My top:

GoldenEye
Goldfinger
Casino Royale
Octopussy
OHMSS
Spy who Loved Me

Sean Connery is the iconic Bond and is my favourite by a long shot. Pierce Brosnan comes comfortably in second and I grew up with his films coming out. I like Daniel Craig a lot but I'm just not sure that he's Bond. Casino Royale was brilliant but since then, the series has kinda petered out. Didn't think Quantum or Skyfall were all that.

Never took to Dalton or Moore but I can appreciate what they did for the franchise and the role.

Spy Who Loved Me. I saw it in the theater when it was released and it was my introduction to Bond.

We recently watched a sh*t ton of Bond in this house. Our internet has been sucking ass, so streaming has been semi out of the question and we were forced to go old school with DVDs. Thank goodness for a near complete Bond collection.

This may be a stupid question but why all the hate on QoS? I admit it wasn't the best of bonds, but it wasn't THAT bad?
I've seen alot of people over the past few years hate on it, but never really seen anybody actually say what they hate about it.
Other then the bourne style fight scene, which was alright imo. Better then some of the stuff in the older Bonds where it looks like Bond has no hand to hand combat training whatsoever. No offense to anybody that treasure the old Bonds.

I'll be honest, it took me a couple of minutes to realize what you were talking about. If I were Bond, the Russian's would have conquered the world by now sad.gif

On topic, I would have to say Goldfinger is my favourite Bond film. It encompasses everything that classic Bond represented. The gadgets, the cars, the girls etc. A perhaps guilty pleasure which would be high on my list is Die Another Day. It's not the best Bond film by any means but man do I love it.

Although sky fall was ok, they made a massive mistake having the kitted out bond car from the end of the movie.

If Q has only just joined, and his tech is very minimal, WTF are they doing with a fully kitted out bond car? Nice throwback but terrible story decision.

Anyway, Sean Connery is the best Bond.

I agree, Skyfall was just OK..

Its like drizzle of rain for 3 mins after a hot day.
They could have made it better.. i wish

anyway i didn't think of that kitted out car until now. What the hell ! , they brought a car which has loads of sh*t and they were using
home alone sh*t...

Favorite flim? GoldenEye. I had seen a few of the classics before seeing Goldeneye and I enjoyed them. I had to see all the other Bond films after that but they didn't compare. Goldneye stayed classy without being boring, and entertaining without become just another action film. Unfortunatly for Brosnan and Craig, both had good movies to start with but it seems that the writters or producers give up until a new bond is choosen. It happen to the other Bonds but not as quickly.

icon14.gif Me too! My eldest sister took me to the cinema to see it when I went to stay with her as a child. I went beetroot with embarassment at the naked ladies doing cartwheels in the opening credits blush.gif

My next cinema Bond was Moonraker while on holiday with my parents, and that would be my best Bond, and Bond movie. What I like about it most is the locations, and I like the way Moore camped it up in his Bond movies. I don't take the films seriously, so the actors who provide the most humour are my favourites.

I love them all but Connery in Goldfinger, Moore in Live and Let Die and Brosnan in Golden Eye are my top three. Not really a fan of Lazenby or Dalton but the late 80's films had that 80's action flavor that I love so much. Moonraker is in the top five because I want to be Drax when I grow up.

I could never picture Craig as Bond so I'll just disregard him completely.

Well M says that a NEW Q: Quartermaster had joined the team, pretty much confirms they've had previous Q's.

My favorite would be From Russia With Love.

I watched On Her Majesty's Secret Service with for the first time a long while back, and I thought George Lazenby was quite good in the role. He had a similar swarthy athleticism as Connery, along with the necessary suave demeanor. That all made him very credible in the role of Bond. Moore seemed past his prime in his Bond films, and always struck me as a frail.

my favorite bond film is goldeneye. my favorite bond is connery.

my least favorite bond movie is casino royale 2006 because even though most people love it i cant stand how they stripped bond of his gadgets, q, moneypeny, and all the classic things we expect from james bond. you dont make 20 movies to just tear it all down with one new one. i think license to kill is the perfect serious bond. but casino royal was a mess and i hated quantum of solace. skyfall was great hope sam mendes can make bond 24 even better.

craig does not look like the perfect bond but hes good for now.

i would however love to see michael fassbender as james bond and idris elba would make a perfect villain.

Favourite movies:

1: Goldeneye, my friends and I were obsessed with this film and the game as kids.

2: From Russia With love, Connery at his best and Robert Shaw made a very menacing villain as Red Grant.

3: License to Kill, it was a bit different from the usual formula but I really liked it, Dalton was great in it with the vendetta he had going on with the villain, who was also a great character. It was a good revenge film if ever there was one.

My favourite Bond is Connery, but I think Pierce Brosnan did a great job too.

Depends on what I'm in the mood for. Connery, Moore, and Brosnan are definately top 3(Brosnan having the edge since I grew up with him in the bond role)
