Hey people. I am about to get my permit and license to drive (Im 17 and a half), and I was told by my bro who works at a car dealership, that I could work with him washing cars and moving them around the lot.

I wont explain why, But I am a dropout and have no education right now to work with, But this seems like a simple job. Do any of you know If that Job requires any diploma?

You don't have to explain why you dropped out.

I don't think you'd need any diploma to be such a simple task.

Anyway, you're still in time to get some graduation that would be very useful for your future.

ok, but what about the question I asked?

All you need to be a porter is a valid driver license. And a good enough driving record that you are covered by their insurance. As far as I know, our porters are given almost minimum wage. See if they need any detailers (we call them hydro techs la di dah). they get paid pretty well and what they do is prep vehicles for delivery by cleaning them inside and out. It's a decent living.

Might need to have a bit more driving experience before they'll hire you though.
