How can I make GTA III beta-ish colours?

Simple, go into the carcols.dat and you'll see a list of just numbers with a hash tag and label next to it. Looks like this:
col 5,5,5 # 0 black black (color in RGB) ^ ^ ^ ^ | | | | end | | | |-Once again, just for you. It used to describe more into what the color is. (end of | | |-This is also for you. the game has no idea what the color actually is, it just does it. reading | |-This is import for mainly you! The game doesn't actual read numbers it bases colors on where they are after "col" black just happen to be the first (or 0) on the list. colors) |-Game wont read anything after # car (car colors are always in pairs) admiral, 0,0 ^ ^ ^ | | |_Secondary car color (if it has one. If not really doesn't matter) | |_Primary car color |_Car(being givin color duh) end (the end of carcols.dat) *tip! Never leave a car in carcols that the default doesn't call upon. This will crash the game.
Now that you 100% understand car cols you can now make your beta car colors. You can either guess by using a program like this:
you could download something that extracts color from your screen like GIMP and get an actual GTA III beta picture and take the color of the car from that picture then look at the RGB and put it into carcols.dat. I'm pretty sure you can add as many colors as you want but going into the garage to get the color wont work. You'd need to write the car you want to have the color you want
