Road Trip Planner
This is the place where you'll plan out your road trips, either when the game releases or beforehand, and share them with each other. I am excited to explore the vast map of San Andreas and what better way to explore it than with a road trip? I may make updates to this topic when the game releases to show off some of the best road trips some of you and I have done via photos and detailed explanations. Maybe maps could be useful to show off your routes. For now I'd like to know what some of your road trip plans are, if you're interested.
Here is mine:
I'll begin my trip around 6:00am (in game time) in front of one of those beautiful Vespucci Canal houses. The car I'll be using is this classic Alfa Romeo 33 lookalike:
I'll head out towards the Great Ocean Highway -- the parody of the Santa Monica Pacific Highway that starts from I-10 -- and cruise up to Chumash. There I'll pretend to fill up for this long trip and I'll head into the LTD Service Station -- the place that got robbed -- and buy something. From there I'll head back onto the road and before I reach Chumash's city limits I'll head onto what looks like a beautiful winding road through the hills and I'll find myself in northern Los Santos. I'll head north up Route 11 from the and judging by some recent screens I'll end up near the gorgeous Zancudo River and an intersection -- glance below the chopper -- . I'll turn right -- heading east -- and cruise down the road while gawking at some of the beautiful vineyards and swamps on both sides of the river. I'll probably glance back and look at the military base too.
Further down the road I'll find myself in the hot Senora Desert. I plan to head up north to take a rest stop at a dusty old 24/7 store in Sandy Shores. From there I'll take the iconic route -- Route 68-- heading east and out of Sandy Shores. Route 68 will head through the sizzling desert giving me wonderful views of Mt. Chilliad and the Alamo Sea. I'll head up to Grapeseed and take a nice slow stroll through the lush farms and try and find any Easter eggs. Hopefully there will be a freeway close by as I reach the eastern end of the map and I'll take that freeway to the northern shore town of Paleto Bay. Before I reach Paleto Bay -- my final destination -- I'll stop at that old Up-n-Atom eatery along the way. When I finally approach Paleto Bay I'll park my car on the beach and just stare at the beautiful ocean. Sounds like a great ending to a hopefully scenic road trip.
Here is what a small part of the route will look like with the help of the blueprint.
Your road trips plans don't need to be nearly as detailed as mine. Just tell me what car you plan to use, where you want to go, and what you want to do. When the game comes out I'll bump this thread and you all can start sharing your road trips. Cheers!
