I think the 10 stops we see on the map are just light rail above ground. im thinking underground their will be a system as well but it isn't shown on that map

Nope you do realize that the red line shown in the map is both Underground and Above

Thin redline: a Lightrail above street level

Thick Redline: Possible Underground Lightrail as metro

Who knows

To Boston:

Nope. Because the line goes next to Micheal's house and actually travels to that Subway Station seen in screens and trailers. The station itself is not marked on the map because of two Icons being where it should be.

The Line goes underground in Downtown, Rockford Hills, Morningwood, La Puerta, and LSX. It also goes underground in South LS after it's last stop to loop around.

Light Rail in LA does become subway in certain sections of the Gold Line. 7th/Metro on the Blue and Expo Lines as well. The future Crenshaw Line will be a subway at Crenshaw/Expo and the Regional Connector in Downtown LA will also be subway.

Is there a subway/underground system AND a light rail separately? Or are they the same? Which means those red tram cars will run underground as well?

The same as there seems to be no separation. It wouldn't really make any sense to add the subway anyway as the Light Rail is more expansive in LA than the Subway. Just like Subways in IV were modeled after The NYC Subway.

In real life LA, the subway lines are Red and Purple which runs from Downtown to Hollywood. Though they are trying to extend the Purple line to West from Downtown to Santa Monica.

Then there are the 4 light rail lines Blue, Green, Gold, and Expo which travel on the surface, as elevated, or as subway.

There is another rail line not on the leaked map. On the blueprint map, you can see it coming from the Vespucci area, and it ends at the Airport at a loop . See it?

There are two stations between Vespucci and the Airport. So it looks like we have two rail lines at the Airport.

Totally forgot about that. But then where else could it go? The LRT already has most areas covered.

That pink line that you see is apart of the rail line that is on the leaked map and it leads straight to the Airport.

The pink line is part of the Light Rail. 2 of it's stations are in the airport.

But that other line, unless it only takes you to Vespucci and Del Perro, I can't see where else it could go. Light Rail has almost all the other districts covered. It has kind of a loopty-loop path. Starts at the airport, turns down the Olympic Fwy, turns North at the river. Then turns west through Downtown, Northwest towards Rockford Hills. Once passing through Morningwood, it turns south then SE through Backlot City. South then East towards Dwntwn LS.Makes a right near the Maze Bank Tower, passing under the Olympic Fwy (And itself), then moving SE through South LS.

Where else could the other line go?

No idea, unfortunately. The blueprint is a little confusing.

Yeahh those purple lines running all over the place in East Los Santos. I mean they can't possibly all be for freights right? I mean that wouldn't make much sense if there are tracks for freights running along every single street in that area o_O

But then why aren't stations marked if Commuter rail was available?

Subway stations weren't clearly marked in GTA IV either, and there were tons of them (at least for a video game). Sure, you could find the blue diamond easier in some spots than others, but there weren't any clear pop-out markers like they have with safehouses, Burger Shot, etc. GTA V will probably be similar in that regard; we will have to wait and see.

The blueprint line is identical to the real one. I honestly think they did it on purpose because it makes no sense to begin with - why does it end behind the terminals?  :sigh:

Because the line on the "blueprint map" is probably moved or its a fault on the map Because that line and the line Beginning of the Olympic Frw in the Brady map is identicle

Meaning that theirs a metro line under Los Santos airport

This has just made me so, so happy.

Lets just pray and hope we can:

A) Ride them
B) Be able to move around in them (like in RDR)

C) Be able to drive them
