2 things I wanted for a loooooong time, al the way back to playing GTA VC:

owning a car.
more things to spend your money on.

So I guess the genie finally popped out of that ugly bottle.

Mine almost. Horses and skateboarding are not(yet?) confirmed.
How about yours?

The game will be absolutely fantastic, but my wishlist is no where near complete:

street drug/crack dealers
basketball minigame
pedestrians IN the water at beaches
people surfing in the water
robbing houses side activities
return of pizza delivery
ability to use other drugs (similar to N.A.R.C. game?)
integration of a complex drug dealing system (that's the only thing I would want from Chinatown wars)
I know this is unlikely (surprise Las Venturas and San Fierro inclusion)
in game university (like a USC or UCLA replica)
return of cab, ambulance, police, and fire missions
dating system
casino that is confirmed with RDR style poker, slots, and blackjack/crapshoot/roulette
12 hour clock

Edit: I made my list after the gameplay trailer, though. So I was aware of most of the things that would be in it.

How important is a pizza delivery job?
The f*ck?
How dull are you?

In some aspects, it has far exceeded my expectations. However, horseys are something R* perfected in one go with RDR (some developers can't perfect a feature after countless sequels) and just because it is considered one of RDR's defining features, doesn't mean it shouldn't be in a GTA game. This game already has features from every other Rockstar game this gen & even some from last gen (Manhunt's stealth & possibly Bully's seasons), so basically 'anything goes'.

Based upon every shred of detail, and heart that Rockstar North has undoubtedly invested into Grand Theft Auto: V's framework, be it microcosmic or macrocosmic, my expectations were effortlessly uncontested at the expense of the Protagonist trailers. It was immediately thereafter that I was 110% absorbed by this new, redefined, beautiful, spacious and fluid iteration of Los Santos. colgate.gif

With Grand Theft Auto: V soon transitioning to the "Gold Master" phase, this installment framed as a schematic, resembles an open-world offering a limitless capacity of activity and enrichment. Los Santos in and of itself, is a realistic city that emulates its modern counterpart and Blaine County is paving its way as a vast countryside, featuring landmark straightaways for the traveling enthusiast, which is so ideal for free-roaming. smile.gif

A multitude of diverse vehicles, each with a visible, glossy explosion, a functioning economy, satirically-political turbulence (Jock Cranley / Sue Murrey), accelerated vehicle customization / aircraft customization. You then have the rudiments of Grand Theft Auto that we all have so many fond recollections of. smile.gif The true essence of a Grand Theft Auto installment, it that it does not have to be centralized around undertaking an act of criminality or exuding this role.

There can be a change of precedent, if you will. You are the compass, rather than a programmed script forcibly navigating your next course of action. With respect to Grand Theft Auto: V: do you wish to be a calculated, but still nonchalant character with a zest of attitude in his step? Activate Michael. Do you wish to exude your inner gangster and reposes epic exotics? Activate Franklin. Are you fixing to unleash a streak of sadistic carnage? Trevor awaits you. smile.gif wink.gif

On-Topic: Grand Theft Auto: V is poised to accentuate the luxury of freedom, hence zero prerequisites for having to unlock a quadrant of the map. smile.gif Grand Theft Auto: V is by my postulation, surreal.

It is as appropriately real and authentic as Rockstar North wanted it to be constructed, and as the fan populous requested (i.e. vehicle customization, purchasing property / business). While of course perfection is not attainable, Rockstar's creations are just one iota below perfection. I cannot wait to unwrap the unexpected on Release Day. colgate.gif

i also really want the opportunity to put suits on trevor, which they will probably allow, woo. that's all i can really think of, so far this game has surpassed my expectations, considering heists were the MAIN thing i wanted more of in grand theft auto.

What I was hoping for in 2010 I thought was ridiculous. However not so, GTA V is actually living up to quite a lot of my expectations, and like you said, exceeding.

However like you say, there are things that they have missed, they can't have everything sadly.

it was the day they officially mentioned Max Payne 3's gunplay to be in GTA V when for me personally, everything I had wished for has come true.

I was asking for a few options like cruise control and camera automation in the wishlist thread when I originally joined the forum in late 2012. but now I can very much live without those, well, at least without cruise control. camera automation would still be very much appreciated.

but again, it has MP3 gunplay, is based a lot on RDR with the environment and sh*t, and it has that SA skill and customization system.....so, already SOLD!

Very happy indeed. I love the inclusion of animals. I have wanted this for ages, plus snow. I just hope there is an opportunity to snowboard or Ski as well. I would be made up then.

I would love for a New Game+ where you pretty much start the story over with all of your unlocked stuff (safehouses, weapons, access to areas, and whatnot) actually unlocked early. I know it'd be in contradiction to the story but a New Game+ isn't really about the story. wink.gif

Haven't heard anything about one though, but we'll know on the 17th.
