I played VC very-very long ago, what's new there? VC don't have emergency light shadows on ground?

Wow, are we going to see those improvements also in GTAIII? Is there anything you can do about ped shadows?
Fireburns

Yeah, of course. I just finished new features support and ditched ipl paths:

2DFX 2.2 doesn't work for me, I don't use ModLoader because I prefer "Old School" modding.

Does anyone have a solution?

I think he must have ASI Loader installed because how did he get a 1366x768 display resolution without it? :catspider:

Since some people don't understand what a lot of the options in the .ini's do, I decided to explain what most of them do down below. You can also find the same information on the original post.

Not all of these options are in the public release yet, but when the next version releases you'll have most of these options

Like SergeantSavidge said, I have ASI loader installed.

Well, then it should work. Where is your installation folder located? If in Program Files, then try to move it somewhere else.

Very awesome mod! I have the latest version of mod and it works. Now it makes SA like IV, a great experience that I never seen before. Good job :)

one thing I'd like to see is the lod corona size to be the same as the original corona size, I know you can play with .dat to achieve this, but should be set as the plugin default (still alowing setting things via .dat, of course)

ah, maybe looking into that issue that happens when the game is using too much streaming memory, those weird flashes and things

now that the alpha limit are patched, this is the only limit to set higher draw distances

I don't get that bug if I leave streaming memory at 100 (I tested with 255, but I got the bug with that much). That amount seems to be enough for the regular map.

Also, the alpha limit thing doesn't necessarily include the car windows. I'm sure they would have mentioned it if it did.

They already released the newest version of limit adjuster? The one I have doesn't have that option.

You're right, that does fix the car window bug. That's pretty cool, I didn't know it had been fixed already.

Hey, I have some issue and I think it is related to the draw distance enhancement and maybe the OutsideWorldWaterBlocks function of this mod.

As the draw distance is drastically enhanced when going higher this problem is a natural consequence:

c9d311342678711.jpg

When joining certain interiors with transparent grounds and reflections I can see the border of the map zone and the water drawn outside of the map zone. See the screenshot above.

Couldn't you implement a function that disables the ultra far draw distance when changing into interior zones (black hell/blue hell)?

Or the other way round: Only apply the modification when in normal world (don't know the ID now....)

That's really nice, can't wait for the new version :p Also did you fix that "block" loading light shadow problem? So those far light shadows are will be in the new version as well?

edit:

It would be nice with a diffuse pre-lightning (or how is it called)

and I think you missed some lights (red lights on the two ends of the bridge, and also there are lights on the pillars):
